Johnson Grammar School CBSE || Sankranti Celebrations

Our school celebrated Sankranti with great enthusiasm, with a special assembly that highlighted the significance of the festival across different states of India.
Students presented the traditional practice of Pongal in Tamil Nadu, Makar Sankranti in North India, and Magh Bihu in Assam, while detailing the unique celebrations of Bhogi, Sankranthi, Kanuma in Telugu states. Rangoli competition showcased students' creativity, and a lively kite-making and flying activity on the ground added excitement to the festive atmosphere.
The event beautifully captured the spirit of unity in diversity and the joy of Sankranti traditions.
