I also started with Elementor pro, it's fast, easier and was enough at the initial stage. Now it has grown to a crocoblock. Спасибо за видео!

Just starting Crocoblock and it has a learning curve to it. Elementor was more intuitive and easier to understand and implement. I think they should merge as companies and build an amazing platform together.... Great video!

I use crocoblock with elementor free only . The game changer for me was when the jet engine implemented the dynamic option inside their widgets. Dynamic content wasn’t possible before without having Elementor pro.

You can have a role manager with the extension jetstyle manager (I'm not sure about the name). I really like the philosophy of Crocoblock where you can enable/disable only feature you want on a project. Elementor pro would be lighter and faster if we were able to enable/disable elements, popup, etc... Per project...

    I agree 100%.
I still use them in combination because they have pro and cons with widgtes...
At least Crocoblock Win for support!
But i would turn only on Elementor Pro if they’ll provide real support on widgets development, because of the easiest worflow.
Just an expample: the elementor pro add to cart widget in single product template it’s just ugly, and I use Crocoblock Woobuilder template just for this reason...

From what I see in your video, Crocoblock separates some product related features in different plug-ins, adding some confusion and sometimes frustration. I don't think it has anything to do with speed rather than maximizing revenues for their products and efforts. I am very much fine with that approach as I believe people should always be properly compensated for their work. At 8:30 mark in the video, you point out that a list of plug-in features can be enabled or not. This is where speed is the main objective. If we are not using some of the features, disabling them will improve the speed execution of the active features in the plug-in. Keeping all features enabled in multiple Crocoblock plugins can bring your website down to its knees.

I came across croco blocks a few months ago and was really confused by all their add-ons. Going to use Jet Engine for the next couple projects as it seems much more powerful than ACF. I'm not an Elementor user so hopefully Gut. blocks will do the things I need it to do. In testing I don't seem to have many formatting options which I might have to custom style with CSS.

You are right! One problem of all contrustion software is its that you get other (like a rectange) and you must write somethng that are not similar that you get. Other you write, other you get (and the user see). One big problem. First you must knon what to write. Lessons (or self lessons) to learn it. When are comblex there is a big learnig curve. It is somethig that no one istructor says. Generaly bad situation. (Example: You want the red fill abd you must write red_fill! Haves thn word "red_fill" any red? No, but you must learn how to write it. That is very simple, but there are a lot not realy comprehensibles).

Do you think it is better to stick with elementor pro or Astra doing the woocommerce stuff, also for future updates? I am kinda scared that it could cause some issues with upcoming updates for elementor

Hi Rino, I'm trying to solve the following problem: I made a real estate website with Elementor Pro and ACF. It worked as I needed it. But now the client wants to translate the whole website. I tried Polylang but it does not translate the inputs in dynamic fields unless you buy Polylang PRO version. It starts to add up and I'm wondering if it would be easier (and cheaper) to switch to Elementro PRO and Crocoblock. Can it be translated in Crocoblock?

If you can afford both *Elementor Pro* and *Crocoblock plugins* , that would be *PERFECT!* . But if you can only afford one of them it's very *wise* to invest in *Elementor Pro* first to learn and practice many basic pro stuffs as u wait to afford Crocoblock plugins in future.

That’s a good question. If you just have a few personal websites and don’t work for clients then it might be overkill. But it also depends on how much money you make. I personally like to always buy lifetime even though it cost more because it’s less hastle (also for accounting). So yea it depends. If you can wait a few more weeks then you can get their freelance plan on Black Friday for probably around $500-$550.

    • @rinodeboer
      @rinodeboer  3 ปีที่แล้ว

Thank you! Good question... I think when you have a lot of trouble with Elementor and need help all the time then the package is nice ofcourse, and then it's worth some money. I am thinking of using Adobe XD for designing but what do you think students should use after to make their website active? meaning to convert their Adobe XD design to a working website. Apologies but I am relatively new in website development, mostly used Photoshop and similar software for web design. My web development skills are left behind in the era of Adobe Dreamweaver. Hey Rino, this was exactly what I was thinking the past weeks. Sent some questions to groups, Croco, WPTuts etc.. Just trying to understand if I could just use Elementor free version with Croco. I cam to the same conclusion you did. I would need to use more plugins, plus the form from Croco has great features, such as conditional logic, which is a weakness in elementor's form. I was all happy, but then I found out that the form doesn't have an acceptance field included. Well, GDPR is here and a form with no acceptance, is worthless. Also it doesn't have HTML and some actions after submit that elementor has. Last, I believe you loose the option of adding css inside elementor, but I don't know if croco replaces that. I also think Jet Plugin names confusing, specially the Jet Menu and Jet Blocks. I never know which one is for the menu, so I stick with elementor. Thanks!!!

Elementor folks are not stupid. They are aware of performance. If you look at the settings tab, there are options to be activated that will improve performance.
I know it's not enough. But, I truly believe they will come up with performance features in the near future to compete with Kadence.

I think you will actually need Crocoblock for this as well. I don't think Elementor Pro has an element that can do that.
