this is dubstep. i got into dubstep cause of guys like datsik excision downlink vaski dayn daladubz mister six 6blocc caspa rusko bar 9 cookie monsta etc so i know all about that stuff but this is where it came from. most of those guys have made stuff like this as well.
You are right, indeed sounds different from Pinch and Scuba's older stuff, but if everybody sounded the same where would originalitty be? We can't create a genre/subgenre for every artist that sounds a little bit different. Just categorize it Dubstep done in a Shackleton way. And I say Dubstep because Shackleton consideres himself a Dubstep producer, he just looks at it in a different way :)
