I don't remember seeing a 190 narrow front much less a pulley. To my amusement I did a cameo in someone's video at the Orange. They got me from the rear. Thank you Ed.
@@brycewiborg8095 I've only seen wide fronts.. I've seen belt pulleys that slip on the PTO shaft and bolt on, but obviously that's side mounted. So you photo bombed someone else's video 👍😎🤣😂
@anthonynapier4668 It surprised me too. When that was built we were still belting a M Farmall to a hammer mill, and buzz saw. IHC would have still built option pulleys for the 560. Thank you Anthony.
@chadtosh6831 I should have examined it. Remember the early Allis? The clutch was all that stopped the pulley. They loosen a nut, and pulled the pulley out a fraction to keep it disengaged. Thank you Chad.
@@brycewiborg8095 I’ve seen them, too young to have operated them. Lol. When I was younger, some neighbours were still using the belt pulleys to run a saw to cut firewood. That was the extent of my being around them. Looked like a sketchy way at best to cut wood. No guards or nothing. Lol. Sure didn’t want to bind a log in the spinning saw. 🤔🤷♂️
You guys have had more rain than we hsve had even.
@tractortalkwithgary1271 It's been spotty. Obviously Hutchinson had more
Yep, they are wet in that area. Now that 190 is a rare bird set up like that.
Thanks Bryce.
@pinesedgefarm1155 I wonder if it was built for some special applications.
I spoke with the operator, but forgot to ask.
Thank you Erik.
Too wet to combine, too wet to plow, hook the 190 to the separator.. thank you Bryce!!

Never knew them newer allis still had belt pulleys. Cool event.

@chadtosh6831 We belted to a hammer mill, and buzz saw until 1974.
It's harder to get the belt running true than it appears.
Out here, if it's too wet to plow, wait an hour.
I was surprised. We were dry. That's 45 miles north. Roughly 80 kilometers.
I thought that was sand.
Thank you.
