This book is one of the reasons I love coloring books. When I first saw it months ago I thought it was ugly. And when I first started coloring I had very clear ideas on what was pretty and what was not. Yet I always watched programs on art and I would have said I was open minded. But I never actually DID any art. Because my artistic talent could fit in a thimble. Thumbelina's Thimble. Yep. But coloring bypasses that pesky problem and the more you color the more you see beauty in different things. Like I've come to love certain shapes because of the way they color ( naturally I can't think of any Now ) and you start to see beauty in things you didn't before. And now I like this book and I LOVE the girls with the spots on their cheeks (oh I HATED that before haha :) Not to say I still don't have my likes and dislikes (photo realistic ehh) but I see beauty in so many more things. And that is due to coloring. So clearly when I buy this coloring book it's for the greater good ........... ^_^ jk. Anyway Great job on all these in-depth comparisons! Loving them! Thanks!
Lol you crack me up - the greater good indeed! It's hard for me to be logical about this book because I fell in love with it the moment I laid eyes on it. In fact, I loved it more than Sommarnatt that was also in that order (but don't tell anyone ok) :) I do know what you mean about coloring though. There are some things that I have absolutely disliked and now like. It seems I take from the dislike pile and add to the like pile as times goes on, but I don't refill the dislike pile with other things. There's beauty in so many things that it really helps to expand our minds and I just love that for each different mood there is a coloring book. I try and buy a variety of coloring books because I know that we all change moods so there's something for everyone. Now I'm off to play with my Sagolikt, Sagolikt postcards and Fairy Tales book x Happy coloring x
Lea, I have a lot of colouring books but I just love this one the most ! It has the right touch of fantasy about it, plus the images are fun to colour and not a lot of work like some of the more intricate books. It is a pleasure just to look through also. I am determined to finish it ! Haha ! 👍
I love it as well! I bought the original last year on a whim as a present for myself and instantly fell in love with it! There's something incredibly sweet and charming about it that a lot of other books do not capture. Hope you love coloring it x

mmm but remember I am one of the few reviewers that buys the bulk of the coloring books and at this stage I've only had less than 10 provided to me. After nearly a year of doing this ...it's not a lot :) Happy coloring x
Coloring Queen I just meant I was jealous because I wish I could have them already lol but I'll wait til the English editions come out so I can order from Amazon and not have to pay shipping lol but yeah you enjoy them since you bought a lot lol
