Sir syllabus apse khatam ho nai raha class mein aap atay nai hain , phelay podcast kar rahein aap (its not about the podcast in particular). The thing is you are literally sacrificing the quality of education of your students because of not being able to balance between teaching chemistry and running the administration of 2 schools as principal owner whatever. And we can do nothing to speak up against this because you have become judge jury and executioner, I have no idea why you don't want the students to have voice against you, even constructively. Its almost as if your biggest fear is giving students leverage in ISL and point out where you are wrong , (as you did in P5 ) XD

This is a social class based education system and everyone is contributing to support this system and no one focus on middle class or lower middle class education. I hope someone will focus on vocational training institutes also and motivate middle classe and lower middle class also to get certified training and they can go overseas to fulfill their dreams.

according to the fee structure of ISL the monthly fee for A2 is 55,900 which equates to 335400 while the tuition fee for lums is 525,280. i assume that cost of operating lums would be much higher than ISL so why the difference is only 50%? an Alevel school doesnt require PHDS or stuff like that... i guess the fee are not justified. the data is take from website of both institutions

The thing is, they are only saying that comparatively, which is, of course, true, but if we see that on the bigger canvas, ISL is just like any other school that is making slaves of course it's not their mistake that we don't have an education system of our own... Although they could've rather worked towards that, of course ab business to karna hai na😅. Well the podcast was a great as I have found a school that I can refer to friends and family. Also I wish that a similar school existed in my time during O-levels and A-levels then I might have become a better and productive person but anyways it is nice to see some really good and productive people in the education industry of Pakistan where it is a trend " jisko naukri nai milti woh parhata hi tou hay school or college may". Schools and colleges are places where people are groomed and their future decision making is shaped during these phases which make them great people in the future. One wrong step can not only destroy a person's future but his family's life as well as his future to be family's life as well (Wife and kids).

The chem teacher was trying to paint a picture of the kind of school he wants, which for me frankly looks more like the schools from Zia's rule. He talked about how religion should be enforced in schools(not in those exact words, but he implied it). Religion should be a choice, it shouldn't be enforced ever, that is how a society breeds extremism. Morality and religion aren't the same, please don't use them as one.

True understanding and presentation of religion develops moral values and it is the responsibility of every human being to maintain high standards of morality in the society through their intellectual strength, and this should be the prime focus of our Education System.

Respected Admin, the uniform for girls is actually not "UNIFORM." Why are there two categories for girls' uniform?
One is a modest look with long qameez with shalwar and sash, and the other one is the most lafantar look with pants and tucked in button shirt. What is the purpose of a uniform? The purpose is to not develop complexes among children, but here, you have deliberately developed complex.
I talked to the vice principal of the school about it, and he said that so many parents objected to shalwar qameez for girls, so ISL admin has given both options to the parents. Like, seriously??
If you change your policies on parents' demands, then where is your own standard?
You should make your own rules, and parents and children have to follow them instead of taking dictations from special kind of parents.

The sad part of this comment is the word used for the uniform. When you're using such a word, it reflects how you think about things. Wearing pants and dress shirts isn't at all lafantar. It looks very elegant and professional. And anybody who agrees to send his/her daughter to this school, must have a broader vision before deciding to send her there.

@mahnazmuizat3865 My point of view is why are there two different standards of uniform for girls? Why not for boys? Why is the school admin bothered to satisfy those parents who do not want their girls to dress up in shalwar qameez but still want their girls to study at ISL under their terms and conditions?
As far as the trousers and buttoned shirts look very professional, it's everybody's own perspective to adopt what they like. I have no objection to people's choices, but dear, I am talking about uniforms. Either there is no uniform or there is one. Those parents who don't want to see their girls in shalwar qameez even for their uniform are then mentally sick. They live in Pakistan and are ashamed of their national dress.

Isn’t Salman the guy who was a debate coach and used to tell the girls if you want to win the trophy go sleep with the judges. And now he is sitting here. The host should be mindful of the kind of people he invites. Instead he is saying his sister was asked to take off the hijab yes because it’s not part of a school uniform and before all you go crazy about this it’s an all girls school you don’t need a hijab in class. Perhaps out of class cover your head and go home.

Car parking and drop/ pick ups. Not going to watch the podcast as these people suck. I just want to highlight a petty issue that has become a major one now. We live in nearby society and trust me the most pathetic and useless reason to get late each day for office is just because of ISL poor management on how to manage those who come to drop or pick up their children. Even the adjacent Sector M is full of cars and thats too because of pathetic sense of parking. They should have given a proper route or designed a way for proper parking. Also should start a course for parents and their drivers on how to park the cars without blocking the roads for other commuters. I have also heard that its illegal to do any commercial activity in the area where the school is built.

most students of ISL are smoker etc
The Only Reason for the success of ISL is that they have the Best teachers of Lahore and the Counseling service for Uni admission. But over all the ethics and discipline is no where to be found.
I really admire the counseling and extra curriculars

In the case of Pakistan, he is 100% right. You should not be hesitant to admit the facts. Unfortunately, since 1977, Pakistan has become hostage by the mullahs. The power they gained during Zia will never end now. Pakistan has become a rigid mullha state since then. Otherwise, it was a progressive and moderate country. Now, Pakistanis, due to their extremism, think that they are the only tekhydar of islam and the real Muslim in the world. If possible, they would love to move kaaba to Pakistan.Even then you are in denial of being "over religious"
