Yes it’s cold eveywhere , but it’s comparable to other cities , for ex mississauga is not as cold as Kitchener for comparison sake , here it’s more wet cold type hence we have ski resorts
Hello. I'm arriving to Waterloo at April as an International Student at Conestoga College. Is it posible to rent (3 or 6 months period) a house, apartament or condo from outside of Canada?. Thanks in advance.
Hello, yes this is possible. However, we don't specialize in student rentals as we mainly deal with buying and selling. You can reach out to us via our website and I can refer someone to hep you. Welcome to KW :)
Insurance companies? Farmer's Markets? You make Kitchener sound so damn boring. and yeah Toronto is close to Kitchener if you have a car. Otherwise it takes almost 3 hours to get to downtown Toronto because Kitchener has now has the worse intercity bus service since Greyhound shut down. and the GO train service is awful.
Why do you think students are a "CON". Don't think you know in and outs of the City. Secondly, this is CANADA, why you are scared of the weather?. Thirdly, Nightlife...how do you define the Nightlife...lolz. Better prepare a Good speech next time
The people living near student residences or in those neighbourhoods find them to be a nuisance as they can be quite loud, and sometimes even leave garbage on their property. We are not scared of the weather :) But just pointing out that there are parts of Ontario where the winter is not as bad. Nightlife is a broad term, you can define it however you want. Mostly it refers to having bars and restaurants to go to, and places to go dancing and have a good time. Having lived here for over 20 years we know the area quite well and have seen the changes it has gone through. Thanks for watching!
P.S. Whenever you’re ready here's how we can connect.

They are not cons, I have been here almost 19 years and I am retired and love the diversity.
You mention Kitchener is very cold as a con, where do you recommend is warmer, most of Canada is cold

Thanks for this. Is Kitchener ready for a night life?

Being from Property Group you should have touched upon Real Estate market as well. But nice.
I think the idea of the video was just pros and cons of the area only
Kitchener is getting too expensive.
Can you reach Toronto downtown in 60 minutes by train?
Nope. I think the fastest GO train trip I had was an hour and 50 minutes.
