I would like to make a question: why are your products so expensive? It's not a critique, it's just that I don't understand...
I use so many different organic products for my beauty routine, that here in Italy are quite simple to find, and they cost 100 times less.
Just to make an example I have this lovely ayurvedic anti aging oil by Khadi brand that costs only 2.99 euros for 10ml, and it's full of erbal igredients. So what's the difference bethween the ingredients in your products and the products I use?
The fancy jars and celebrity tags makes it expensive

$90 for a cleanser? I think I'll stick to my Bioderma/Simple micellar water, and a low ph cleanser like MooGoo milk wash tyvm.
Cream over the oil? Most dermatologists say oil goes on last bc creams and serums can’t penetrate the oil.
Are we no longer washing our faces underneath some water.. like not only on a wet cloth after a cream cleanser? I tried this non washing method and it never clears off the dirt, oil and makeup. I would dare Gwyneth to run a cotton pad with some toner over her face and she will find some mascara and makeup.
You can clearly see the eye makeup still on her eyelids. Ick.
Gweythe seems like she would be alot of fun over a pitcher of Margaritas.....
I love watching GP doing her skincare routines but I wish GOOP would post more videos of her cooking and showing us her recipes....

She’s doing it all wrong 😫 she’s so rough with her skin and there’s still makeup left lol.
No wonder her skin is so dry, she’s not put anything hydrating on it.
Have you seen her other skincare routines? She uses super strong exfoliants that should only be used 2/3 times a week... every single night. And she rubs at her face like it's nobody's business. Makes me cringe so much :(
Dry doesn't necessarily means hydrating. You have lack of hydration (water) or/and lack of lipid (fat) and you're going to nourish you're skin.
In general, everyone've got dehydration mostly in winter! You've got dry skin with lipid since birth or huge hormonal change (teenage years, give birth, cancer)
In her case, she uses a thick cream and an enriching face oil. Best combo!
Dry skin is a lack of oil, dehydrated skin is a lack of water. Her skin isn't dehydrated, it's dry, because she strips it of all oils and removes the top layer every day. She thick cream and face oil don't have chance to work on the top layers of skin she's removing every morning.

Washing your face every day /= exfoliating every day.

Is it just me being OCD but I feel like that wasn't a proper cleanse?? What about washing it with an actual cleanser afterwards to remove the residue, omg lol and all that eye make up?!!

There is a gentler, much more efficient way to take off your make-up...
I use Erno Laszlo, La Roche - Posay, Bioderma, Caudalie, Estee Lauder etc. All are 100 times better than Goop could ever hope to be, and wayy cheaper.
Don't waste your money!

The cleansing balm goes directly to ur face dry
Oil locks in moisture by creating a barrier, it is not moisturizing in any way. By using oil first she is just preventing her moisturizer from actually penetrating her skin.

I am really glad she kept her routine restricted to the four basics...cleanser oil cream and eye cream.I really get shocked when ppl put 15 steps into their routines like four five serums at a time !!! I mean really are we supposed to really put so many products on our face at one single time ???

The reason why she has such dry skin is probably because of how she constantly is using these oil and lotion things. It’s like how when you use too much Vaseline on your lips, your lips eventually become naturally dry. They end up relying on the vaseline instead of making their own moisture

Even when she has supposedly taken all of her makeup off, her eyes still look so dark, saggy and discoloured on the lid area etc. Her eyes mos def need some extra tlc!
