I didnt understand the topic from the teacher so I decided to search it on youtube and holy frick is your explaination so easy to understand, i wish you were my teacher ❤
My teacher said I got to cut all the parts then do ALOT of multiplication and that is the simplest way Then I watch this Me: LIKE WHATA HECK THIS IS SO EZ
My teacher explained this 3 million times and i didnt get it :( but now this teacher made it so simple that now i can easily do it.:) i am scared tho because tomorrow is my Cambridge checkpoint exam :O
@Teresa RANA The dotted line splits the shape up into two rectangles. The first, the one on the left, has a height of 9cm and a width of 3cm, so its area is 9x3 = 27cm^2. The second, the one on the right, is a square with a height of 5cm and a width of 5cm, so its area is 5x5 = 25cm^2. So the total area is 27 + 25 = 52cm^2

I have a math test tomorrow so thank you
I don't get it. Aren't you ment to do the length times width?
I mean that is the volume to find an are of a compound shape.
I did do length times width, but I split the shape up into two rectangles first. One is 3cm by 9cm, and the other is 5cm by 5cm
I wish you were my teacher
Nise Trying good
Thank you
takes you 5 minutes to get that into my head but my maths teacher 1 hour???
Good job sir!!
wish u are my skl teacher🥰🥰
Thank you sir
thank you so much
Really helped me! Today, my brain just didn't work, I watched this and it made sense! TYSM!
question why didnt you use the 8 and 4
Well you could split the shape up in a different way to find the area: 8x5 + 4x3 = 40 + 12 = 52. This produces the same result.
@@TLMaths so are there 2 possible answers to the question?
Not two possible answers, but there are two different ways you can chop up the compound shape into two rectangles.
@@TLMaths oh thanks sir your very helpful 😀
I wish u were my teacher🥺🥺🥺🥺
