MNK player and it's actually really useful the tips you gave because I always thought crouching and sliding was bad along with seeing how a good strafe pattern should be at different ranges. Some things aren't 1-1 for MNK but most of it is solid.
You want a hint of drift so you always have an input registering. Both move and aim inputs provide additional AA of different types. I have a theory that the people that “lose AA” are simply entering their deadzones during a fight which causes AA to be weaker causing them to slip off target.
@truenemesisprime550 short strafes up close, focus on hitting shots, crouch when shields are getting lower, don't spam crouch, the farther the enemy is, the longer your strafe should be, strafe side to side, and jump when you are one shot. If you are up shots, focus on hitting shots. The more your shields deplete, the more mad your strafe should be.
@WithBenZ truth! I usually just focus on hitting my shots. Then, as my shields get lower, I strafe more. Usually add a crouch or different lengths. Up close, short strafes and timed crouches as you shift directions are op. Jumping occasionally(don't over jump)
@@B1OChemist I mean there’s an aim lab map on halo (I know kovaks I tried to make it work for my controller) I think you might like it or at least some of it, very similar concept to to aim trainer1. One other thing sorry, what’s your thoughts on training with aim magnetism off shooting bots?
@artmcgreevy3110 I'll check it out. I kind of like it, but a controller needs AA to pretty much be viable. I think it can help, but I'd rather up my sensitivity, then after warming up, drop it down.
@B1OChemist Aim labs 2.0. It has an arena mode where you can choose how many bots to spawn in, whether they descopd you or not, their speed. There is a wall of weapons that can choose from. You shoot the weapon to switch to it by the way. It's a cool warm up map.
@Jamesmcc117 I think I've used this map before. It is a great warmup. However, this helps you work on your aim and strafe and put it all together. The aim lab definitely helps with your aim and the arena with your movement/strafe, but I feel like it allows you to easily create bad habits and not recognize them. I'll look at it again and get back with you!
@@B1OChemist well I'm not wearing my contacts and as I was watching the beginning of the video, your Crosshair look like an S shaped Crosshair. @@B1OChemist dude I suck at aiming. I’ve tried everything. I use to be be extremely good at halo 2-3 could keep up with pros, but for some reason I can only get low lvl onyx on halo infinite
Dont use aim trainers, that’s useless on Halo. It’s not an aiming game, and we all have aim assist. Just kill bots on the ranked maps, get the habits, the muscle memory, the crosshair placement, that’s what improve aiming the most. You won’t ever see a pro in an aim trainer
@WithBenZ i totally agree with this statement. However, this video is mostly geared towards players who are low in ranks and basically can't aim. If you can't aim, aim trainers are super useful. There is a point where you will need to face actual people on maps to get better. All the pros have a warm-up, and then they go into an octagon against another pro. Pros don't need aim trainers as they already gave amazing aiming habits. They shoot bots on a map to warm up. So, after you have good aim, like you said, warm up shooting bots on a map and face an actual person. Bots don't strafe like people.
