People just instinctively trust pak so they don’t speak up or try to stop what’s going on, all they gotta do is pick up the card and read it. I’ve noticed so many people that play him on stream just bow down 😂

Maybe he doesn’t know the cards very well either just yet since the engine just kinda became relevant. It’s ok though, misplays will happen it’s the nature of the game. GGs

Game 1- we just gonna ignore the fact he made IP with Rex and gigantic, then brought a spright from the GY when he said he can’t make the IP coz they’re same type? Both gigantic and spright starter lock you into level/rank 2 also.
i dont even people are also mentioning the fact that game 1 might not matter by the way but you changed the location of the fur hire u normaled summoned idk their names but blue was under the link zone and when u linked summoned u picked all of them up and now the fur hire was in the zone where the blue was before. i dont play the deck but idk if it matters but by moviing you freed up the link zone the card was blocking.
Match 1 Game 1 Pak opened Rex and Fossil Dig. I assume the only reason is attempting to play around Droll. But in this case I don't understand why he wouldn't go Activate Fossil Dig First > Ash > and then Normal Rex. I'm using the logic that most players would consider interacting with the Fossil dig because if it searches Misc you might hard lose.
In the first game You used gigantic effect to summon a Level 2 from Deck so After That you are locked in lvl/Rank/link 2 Monsters.. clearly you could not summon beat rafaele and folgo After That
Yiu dodnt need to use rex after your summoned donner. You could have just tributed donner to SS folgo and donpa..then destroyed belle and folgo draws 3. Then you can save your rex for the next turn.
Yo pak I think you should retry gold pride punk. I started it two weeks ago and have only played it at regionals (probably not the best decision) the deck is crazy though especially if you know what your doing
2 freezing, 2 slumber, 2 tip, 2 destruction, 3 flashing, and 1-2 fountain. You can sometimes get away with 1 fountain since its bo1 so no banish removal siding and geri recycles from gy. For engine 3 rex, 3 fossil dig, 1 donpa, 1 beat, 1 Rafael, 1 mayhem, 1 rookie, 2 spright blue, 1 jet, 1 carrot, 1 red, and 1 starter. The rest you can do whatever you feel like but I reccomend at least main 3 maxx c and 3 ash blossom. Im about diamond 2 finding success with the deck so you can always adjust to what u have issue with or run into often where you're at. But I'd recommend starting your runick ss of hugin in draw phase to play around droll and bait out a negate if you open rex or fossil dig. Pak didnt do that here and its pretty important for rex to resolve you will get full combo out of hugin and rex. Im not the best with the deck but ive been playing it for a while now irl, db, and on md.
For the inevitable "2 fountain is necessary" its up to you i hated opening up 2 in hand and rather see more going 2nd cards because going 1st is usually free. Evenly helps against trap decks and drnm isn't bad since donpa pops and you can sometimes pop problem cards with ur flashing. Going 2nd against tear can be kinda rough so I'd recommend some bystial in main (magna can grab Rafael too which is neat for going 2nd) or ghost belle. Just my 2 cents if you're starting out on md.

You want to keep atributes in hand especially when you have nib. You can nib him then maybe summon magma EF or if he tries to summon something back idk. Cuz magma can replace himself and he’s a big body so I’m not mad at dropping mag. All I’m saying is don’t commit to the board. He was playing runick he couldn’t kill you.

Instead it'd be better to either limit tip or semi limit 2 or 3 quick plays, so even if they draw with Fountain, they're less likely to draw into meaningful disruption, lowering the overall power level
exactly, even if you “draw the out” they are playing spright to protect it. Also, the fact that every Runik card lets you special summon a fusion that searches fountain, you cosmic it one turn and then they get it back next turn. AND it doesn’t lock you into anything. At least striker cards need no monsters. This card you can combo your ass off and draw 4 cards every turn. the three refresh effect and then draw for your turn. It’s ridiculous. ‘But you skip the battle phase’ who cares about that

No only when link summoning do you need to go into extra monster zones or link arrows graveyard summons are just regular specials
