Hi from Guangzhou, China. I have been watching your videos and applying some warmups in my choir practice. They are very helpful. Thank you sir! Please keep posting!
hi Roger. is this similar to the puffy cheek exercise in that no matter how high you get you keep the throat open because i have a tendency to apply compression as i get higher in my range. thank you for your videos.
@@RogerHale Thank you so much Dr Hale, I got it though a bit intermittent still. Thanks so much for your videos. My breath control has been so bad for decades now with your help I can finally learn it. I'm the only one at home who is thrilled at learning the trill though. I did the 20 min warmup last night but then forgot to sing after! Thanks again and God bless you and your family and keep up the great work. Kindest regards. Naomi
Many thanks for sending me this link, Roger... I will add it to my saved exercises. One last question, I have difficulty doing the lip trills on the higher notes and I have noticed that you and your students do it with ease. I have a very high soprano voice singing, which seems to be quite amazing for someone of 63 (I sing Queen of the Night just one tone under the usual one, started singing at the age of 58, maybe the reason why my voice is not tired), but when I get to the high C, like here, you were still doing it but I would produce a normal sound and then coming down I would go into the lip trills again. What am I doing wrong?

thank you for your videos.
Antony, as long as you put your tongue in the “ee” position. This moves the tongue out of the throat and opens up the throat.
@@RogerHale thanks for your reply Roger.
Hello from Italy, I wanted to ask you how not to go into the voice of falsetto but in the head voice?
