My current range is a 30" GE slidein, and the counter overlap is really nice. It's like a few more inches of usable space widthwise on the top and like you mentioned there's nothing falling into the gaps.
I first looked at the 2017 (or 2018) model of the Cafe dual fuel slide-in range for a kitchen renovation. I regularly bake breads and dessert items such as cheesecake, and quick breads, rather than roasting meats that I do maybe a handful of times each year. Since my kitchen (11'6" x 11"9") could not accommodate a standard wall oven unless I sacrificed cabinet storage, I had my eye on buying the double-oven version of the Cafe range. At the store, I tested the experience of stooping to pretend removing food item from the lower oven at the store. Whoa...I felt that strain in my back and I stooped and rose from the that position. From that point, I crossed the Cafe double-oven range from my list because I could not imagine stooping to remove foods from the lower oven over several years, especially a turkey given its weight. I ended up going with the Cafe single-oven dual fuel slide-in range with the warming drawer for that reason.
Help! We were going to switch to an induction cooktop, but have found out we do not have the electric to support it. We need to stick with gas and want to do a cooktop. Can we get a comparison of gas cooktops?
How is LG costumer service I heard it’s terrible? Does it even matter if it’s that reliable? Re doing my kitchen and torn between the ge profile and lg studio. Which would you recommend?

I just bought the same one. Bending down for the bigger oven was awful.
The middle burner doesn't work well on mine 😢
I use my warming drawer to actually bake. Takes a bit longer but does a good job.
Agree with your sentiments on the KitchenAid. I’ve had one for several years and it’s going bye-bye in the renovation. Built-in fridges next?
yes...soon
Thank you for this terrific informative video. And I love your accents! :)
Fun video, but best of all, you guys cover a lot of brands.
The GE Profile you mentioned is only $1500 not mid 2000s as stated. Great value for price.
depends on when you buy it
Love these and would love to see more! Have y’all done a radiant electric range version?
Not yet

The GE profile is less than $ 1000 at P.C.Richard’s (New York City) on Black Friday.

You guys recommend the LG LSGS6338F. It has 2 burners over 20000 BTUS. Does one really need that many BTUs?
Better question is: Do You?
Stir frying loves those btu's
