I love that Seventeen doesn't write just "love" songs. I know other K-Pop groups write songs with many versatile concepts but Seventeen have written many songs that are just about getting better, enjoying life, and being happy. Sure there are some lyrics that can be interpreted as romantic when it comes to who the "you" is they are talking about, but songs like "Healing", "Smile Flower", "Us, Again", and now this one are just about finding joy in adventure and others. They can write beautiful love songs like "Pretty U" and fun ones like "Mansae" but between their unique sound (which I truly believe comes from them having a more hands-on self-production approach than other groups) and just their wonderful lyrics, Seventeen really does create something special with every new song they release.

Their Hit the Road series revealed a lot of them struggle with depression and are worried about their future, so perhaps their music is a way of them trying to heal others who they are worried may be hurting like them. DK even said that when he heard Carats singing Smile Flower back to him it became encouraging to him in a way he never considered, since they wrote it to encourage Carats.

Fighting for toothpaste, shampoo. They really did come from the bottom....bcoz of their talent and hardwork, they're here today as one of the top bgs.

This also reminds me of another comment someone made the other day saying SEVENTEEN isn't so talented and great at what they do for the sake of it but they HAD to be good to survive! Coming from a company that was on the brink of bankruptcy, when the company couldn't even buy them the basic necessities for their stage performances, they just HAD to be perfect at what they do. I always feel inspired by them because of how they decided to stick together no matter what and worked so hard for one goal. Their hard work really paid off. It's wonderful..

seventeen just encourages us to be ourselves. I love how inspiring they are. I wish I stanned sooner (I knew of them for a while) but all that matters is that I did eventually (started in An Ode era) and stayed. Since I found them, I'm becoming inspired to be myself more. It can be hard to do and I am still struggling. And for Seventeen to also feel that too but still move forward slowly saying it is okay to move at our own pace, it is comforting that we are all in this together. "Do your best but maybe not sometimes" is ok.

A lot of Seventeen songs are really comforting like "My My." They have "Hug" that reassures people that they are there for them. They have "Healing" to remind people to rest for awhile and find happiness. They have "Smile Flower that says even though the end is inevitable, let's just enjoy the moment and cherish the memories later.

I love that Seventeen doesn't write just "love" songs. I know other K-Pop groups write songs with many versatile concepts but Seventeen have written many songs that are just about getting better, enjoying life, and being happy. Sure there are some lyrics that can be interpreted as romantic when it comes to who the "you" is they are talking about, but songs like "Healing", "Smile Flower", "Us, Again", and now this one are just about finding joy in adventure and others. They can write beautiful love songs like "Pretty U" and fun ones like "Mansae" but between their unique sound (which I truly believe comes from them having a more hands-on self-production approach than other groups) and just their wonderful lyrics, Seventeen really does create something special with every new song they release.
Agree! So many of their songs are relatable and you can see that they sincerely share their current feelings in each album. We get to experience their growth as well with each song.

Their Hit the Road series revealed a lot of them struggle with depression and are worried about their future, so perhaps their music is a way of them trying to heal others who they are worried may be hurting like them. DK even said that when he heard Carats singing Smile Flower back to him it became encouraging to him in a way he never considered, since they wrote it to encourage Carats.

They spent sleepless night working on their various stage performance to attract more fans..for like two years, they were not given any in ear monitor for their live performance., some even use their ear piece...all 13 of them lived in a room with only one bathroom.

They really did come from the bottom....bcoz of their talent and hardwork, they're here today as one of the top bgs.

This also reminds me of another comment someone made the other day saying SEVENTEEN isn't so talented and great at what they do for the sake of it but they HAD to be good to survive! Coming from a company that was on the brink of bankruptcy, when the company couldn't even buy them the basic necessities for their stage performances, they just HAD to be perfect at what they do. I always feel inspired by them because of how they decided to stick together no matter what and worked so hard for one goal. Their hard work really paid off. It's wonderful..

seventeen just encourages us to be ourselves. I love how inspiring they are. I wish I stanned sooner (I knew of them for a while) but all that matters is that I did eventually (started in An Ode era) and stayed. Since I found them, I'm becoming inspired to be myself more. It can be hard to do and I am still struggling. And for Seventeen to also feel that too but still move forward slowly saying it is okay to move at our own pace, it is comforting that we are all in this together. "Do your best but maybe not sometimes" is ok.

One of the things that I love about Seventeen is when they write encouraging songs like this as well as Healing and Holiday. It's something you know you should be doing when you're having a hard time but sometimes it's difficult to convince yourself to think that way. It's a pleasant reminder with the lyrics, melody, and the visuals. It somehow convinces me everytime I'm down. Perhaps that's why they release these encouraging b-sides. Thank you Seventeen.
