The first part where it all shows them running straight in together right in front of the wave is one of the most epic moments ever.

The Hawaiian Water Patrol were absolutely awesome that day. These are men who have many, many years of experience under their belts and their only focus out their is to ensure that the surfers are safe. It was not a dumb move for them to ride in and beach their jetski's, it was a move that ensured their safety, so until I see you out there attempting to escape a 60 ft. close out wave at Waimea, don't you dare say that it was a dumb move.

100% accurate.
As someone who has years of PWC experience. Yes this was 100% the right thing to do. They were very quick with stopping and starting of the engines too. I doubt they sucked very much sand into the jet pump. Also riding at those speeds isn't easy, those big boys are like bucking Broncos! All in all these guys are trained professionals with excellent riding skills. I'd trust them on my machine!

I remember watching this but was only partially paying attention right then. I was astonished to see them all racing from the wave! Truly stunning footage!

terribly edited. You lose so much of the impact by cutting it where you did. In fact the cutting on the majority of your videos makes them difficult to watch and lose their impact. For a struggling league you need serious digital help. You could (and SHOULD) be killing it digitally.

No life jackets
The reason why they have no life jackets cause these waves are big so if they fell off the jet ski and a big wave is coming they can go under the crashing wave
they can duck dive with a jacket but there too profecional for life jackets and if they have to go to an emergency they dont have time to put the life acket on cause the victem can esily drown
