This means they could lift a human baby or 24 billiard balls! Bald eagles also build the largest nests than any bird. They can be up to 4 meters (13 feet) deep, 2.5 meters (8 feet) wide, and weigh up to 1 ton. They use the same nest for years and add new material every year. Some nests have been used for over 35 years! (And their brains are as big as a walnut!) We really live in a detailed world.😌 A world that certainly did not exist by accident, but invented!

It is interesting that I first heard this sound about a week ago. Fifty years ago, just seeing an eagle along the Mississippi River would have been a big deal. As time went on you would see eagles soaring or even nesting near the river. About 25 years ago we moved to our farm, which is about 11 miles east of the river in the Driftless Area of Wisconsin and and a few years later started to see eagles flying overhead. About 20 years ago, I was out checking heifers and an eagle landed in an Oak tree not more than 150 feet away. I was amazed. He watched me for minute or two, but was probably scouting for rodents and then took off and flew out of sight. Over the years we saw increasing numbers of eagles and they started to alight in some of the tall spruce trees in the area. In fact, one time as we were walking with our dogs, I joked with my wife that the next thing we might see is an eagle in the tallest tree on our property. At that moment we looked up and an eagle was looking down at us. This is a tall spruce tree about 700 feet south and east of our house, but, it is less than 50 feet from the property line of an old school house that friends of ours live in as a summer home. Last week I was out walking the dogs and the eagle came flying in and landed at the very top of the same tree and looked down at us. I don't think the dogs even realized the eagle was there and we walked within a few feet of the tree and around to the front of the house. Our neighbor was outside and I mentioned that the eagle was up in the tree. He said that this had been happening quite often as of late, and the bird made the sounds in the video which I don't ever recall hearing before. You sometimes will come upon an eagle on the highway due to a road kill, but you don't hear any sounds. My neighbor said that the bird almost seemed like he was talking to them, since they heard the call before, but perhaps it was calling another eagle in the vicinity?
