Dave, First and foremost I want to thank you for inspiring me to pursue buying some land and building a small cabin on it. I have very minimal skills, but am willing to learn and be a good steward of the things I am blessed with. My wife and I DO have a small condo (805sf) we are wanting to pay off first. We have less than 2 years left on the mortgage. Meanwhile I am learning on YT how to and how NOT to build a cabin. YOU are a great instructor. I enjoy your narrations, story-telling and instructions. I really just enjoy you for YOU. I tell you that to tell you this... I don't think many of your subscribers would care about the topic or direction in which your YT channel goes in terms of subject matter. For me at least, I just enjoy your authenticity, your genuineness, transparency and honesty. In my opinion, that is the driving force that makes you (and Brooke) really enjoyable to watch. He and his girlfriend once lived in a tiny camper that he built from the frame up. He's built several things but it's not all about building. I also love Brian from Offgrid Adventures. He's in Arizona and just bought land and living in a camper. And my other favorite is Elsa and Barron.

Like everyone else I love seeing your builds. But I also realize a person only wants to do so many and only when necessary, ha! I'd appreciate anything hands on: home repair you do. Although I'm a 62yo married female. Like a toddler I like to do things myself if I have the confidence to do it. Any maintenance on your wood stove, etc. My husband & I ride so any bike videos scenery, repairs etc.

Content ideas - the cabin building is always interesting but it sounds like you’re needing a break from that. This is understood. With that, the clearing/setting up the land I very much enjoy. The LP property, the UP property or anything in Alaska. Camping necessities, places to camp, how to camp. Just throwing stuff out there. Thanks for everything you share man!

You know, the Red Tail Hawk screaming as it flys over the valley I’m in, the beavers repairing their hooches in the creek I hike near, squirrels chattering in the trees early in the morning, stuff like that. You guys in Michigan have a late deer season.

When I was a little kid 60+ years ago. My Dad had a leather handled Estwing hammer. I used it working with him. When I grew up, I bought one for myself. When my Dad passed away, I gave his hammer to my oldest son and bought another for my younger son. They are easy on your hand and the heads don't come off. Try one.

Build an elaborate log raft with multiple tents on it and do a 5 day float down the Yukon River with Mic, Brooke, and maybe your brother or other takers. I saw several guys built rafts our of bottles and barrels in Canada and do a multiday floats down a river in Canada and it went over great. I believe Brooke did something in a canoe if memory serves me correctly. Live feeds work better when two do them, taking turns reading and sharing info.

Loved the question "have you had your water tested?" We have a hand driven in Paradise that is only 22feet down. Through 2 feet beach sand, 2 feet hard pan, 12 feet clay sandy loam then the aquafur with hard clay bottom. We checked our water and it's safer to drink than city water. That's pretty much the entire UP hand drives unless you're SW against Wisconsin border.
So far, I only watch you, Brooke and Mick’s channels. I like down earth programs that help me relax. All this Prepper stuff wears me out and worries me.
I'm not sure what happened but I lost thee feed at 136.56 and you was still talking. Hope to see that sawmill video soon. My wife wants to see more rustic and back woods living. I bought a DeWalt battery operated chain saw for around the house. The battery lasts a long time. I basically bought it because I had a load of firewood delivered and it all needed to be cut in half as the pieces were just too big. I like it but this one is a light duty saw. If I am going up to NY state I’ll throw it in the back of the truck in case I come across a downed tree. I also bought a battery operated hedge trimmer. It’s nice to have a lightweight tool like that to work with. No power cord to haul around! Love all your content, watching Mickey too. Other channels I watch other than your your family members are Mustie1 ( he is out of Connecticut and repairs anything with an engine on it). Those are the only ones u subscribe too. I own a music store and repair instruments for a living so I am very interested in your guitars.

Oh, that sounds like it was an amazing concert! One of my friends has been a back up singer and put out several albums of her own music. Anyway, she did some back up for the Eagles in the last several years and she’s always enjoyed working with them. Her name is Lynne Fiddmont.

Definitely more outdoors fun in the woods with friends or family.
Build an elaborate log raft with multiple tents on it and do a 5 day float down the Yukon River with Mic, Brooke, and maybe your brother or other takers. I saw several guys built rafts our of bottles and barrels in Canada and do a multiday floats down a river in Canada and it went over great. I believe Brooke did something in a canoe if memory serves me correctly. Live feeds work better when two do them, taking turns reading and sharing info.
I would like to see you film Brooke doing a video. All the camera set up and things she has to do to make a video. Then have her do the same for you.

Loved the question "have you had your water tested?" We have a hand driven in Paradise that is only 22feet down. Through 2 feet beach sand, 2 feet hard pan, 12 feet clay sandy loam then the aquafur with hard clay bottom. We checked our water and it's safer to drink than city water. That's pretty much the entire UP hand drives unless you're SW against Wisconsin border.

I bought a DeWalt battery operated chain saw for around the house. The battery lasts a long time. I basically bought it because I had a load of firewood delivered and it all needed to be cut in half as the pieces were just too big. I like it but this one is a light duty saw. If I am going up to NY state I’ll throw it in the back of the truck in case I come across a downed tree. I also bought a battery operated hedge trimmer. It’s nice to have a lightweight tool like that to work with. No power cord to haul around! Love all your content, watching Mickey too. Other channels I watch other than your your family members are Mustie1 ( he is out of Connecticut and repairs anything with an engine on it). Those are the only ones u subscribe too. I own a music store and repair instruments for a living so I am very interested in your guitars.
