@jonadocks try out a 4-1-4-1 shape. deep cdm and wing backs in the back. Inside fwds ahead of the cms just behind the striker. Little different than your typical formation. Works great

Another fun feature you should add is looking at your match facts after every game.
Especially games you’ve dominated so we can see your xG and possession
Stay 3 back. I’m doing the same thing but you have to invest in top class defenders and also recognize if your not scoring 3 a game your losing. Very attacking formation.
try to play in a 5-3-2, RWB/LWB > RM/LM
just an idea for the gameplay, bijol has decent long passes so you could try hit it to lucca who can knock it down for pafundi. Lucca is insanely tall so should win every aerial duel and it would let pafundi squeeze in behind
Maybe try changing to a fullback italian system

I think 3 back can work really well but I've always needed to use wing backs and two DMs ahead... It just takes a slightly different positional approach when defending... I'd like to see you not give up on it, just tweak it
My system is 5-2-3 with either cams or cfs either side of the striker....

If you want to keep the formation consider putting your wingers closer to the defensive line. They are way too far forward even if they instructed to come back for defending. Udinese doesn't play like this.

Change the formation to a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1. This formation you're are currently using doesn't help defensively
