I think if you get 6 points or under in a race in mario kart wii, (which is 6th) and mario kart 8, (which is 7th place) , you lose

probably has to do with the fact that this content is geared towards kids (the channel has "family friendly content" in the description) so most (if not all) of the views are from young kids, either on youtube with no account (which you need to comment) or on YT kids, where (i believe) you cant comment.
This is just a guess though, nobody really knows how the youtube algorithm works :/
