I agree, it’s almost like you can clearly notice the missing cadence, voice inflection, ect. Otherwise, good stories, def fiction, but otherwise kinda filled with it with a “disconnection from reality non human reader” Especially can be noticed when you hear there is no taking of breaths between words.

Good story, but the voice of the reader feels AI generated. Check out The Dark Somnium, he has fantastic stories with original editing and a beautiful voice. Same for other creepypasta channel except that their stories are not always great as they already read all the good stuff as they are old youtubers with hundreds or thousands of videos (CreepsMcPasta or MrCreepypasta).
AI has a long way to go to be a legitimate storyteller. Seriously mispronounced words, and a monotone voice with no passion. Stop with the laziness, an actual human telling a story can really help bring out the emotions of the characters and with visualizing the environment! You may just get a lot more views and subscribers, in turn, more money for the content you upload!
Ya, it's a bit off-putting but I happen to like the low soft tone voice from narrator's. I use channels like these, scary stories to help me fall asleep. I have a couple that I alternate and I'm always searching for more channels. It helps me so i it's a trade-off I guess👍😊
