    I am glad you all had fun at Magic Kingdom. It's been a few years since I have been there. I always loved the planting beds and flowers at the parks. Like a gardener's paradise for the eyes and heart!

    Theme parks are tricky with a toddler. Disney has so many rides that kids like but that haunted house really does scare them at that age. She still had a great time and every year she'll like it even more! Keep up the great work with the videos!

      That is so awesome! One major piece of advice I’d give is to try to plan for some down time in the middle of the day if your child typically has a mid-day nap. Some parents make the mistake of totally altering their. Child’s schedule to do Disney World and it’s not a magical decision. We found a quiet place for Vivian to rest in her stroller in the middle of the day and everyone was better off for it.

    I feel that pirates of the Caribbean is actually spookier a creepier than haunted Mansion for little kids. The animatronics in pirates have that uncanny valley look to it whereas the haunted Mansion ones look like they're from Casper

    There’s a brief shot of feeding koi fish about ten seconds in - where are the koi in Magic Kingdom/Florida? Our little one loves koi and it would be great to see them on our trip.

    • @AikenAdventures
      @AikenAdventures  ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh that’s a montage of different things we had done across our channel up to that point. That koi fish clip was probably Marie Selby botanical garden in Sarasota, FL.

    Very helpful video! My husband and I want to take our daughter when she’s about a year and a half. May I ask what camera you use to vlog? We want to capture our memories at Disney too.

    • @AikenAdventures
      @AikenAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We just use our cell phones and edit in iMovie.
      Also, a couple of things we didn’t include in this video-we were limited on time being with family-the Magic carpets are a great ride for toddlers and they won’t care that it’s almost exactly like the dumbo ride, the Winnie the Pooh ride is great for littles, and Tom Sawyer island is a great place for kids to engage in free play. Kids aren’t designed to stand in line all day.

    This was helpful. My biggest worry is that I will get my toddlers on a ride like pirates and they scream and cry the whole time. Is there any way to prepare them?

    • @AikenAdventures
      @AikenAdventures  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We told Vivian in advance what was going to happen and then just tried to set the tone by telling her how much fun she was having. We knew the drop was coming so we held her really close at that time and she ended up enjoying it.

  • @javierportillaarcila5467
    @javierportillaarcila5467 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Thanks for the video. Roughly how many hours would you really need at MK with a 3 year old?
    I mean only like focusing on rides they can go into and enjoy, thank you again!

    • @AikenAdventures
      @AikenAdventures  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      To be honest, we have never gotten to all of the rides in any single visit-there might be some inefficiency on our part that has prevented that, and vlogging May slow us down a little bit, and also, now, we have a baby, too, but based on our experience, it would take a whole day to do everything a toddler can do in Magic Kingdom, and based on the pace we end up going (fitting in naps, etc.), I’d recommend 2 if you really wanted to do everything.
      We actually have another video coming out soon where we tell about taking time at the free play spaces in the park such as Tom Sawyer’s Island, the Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse, and the playground and splash pad at Storybook Circus.

    Which park is the best park for a toddler ?

    • @AikenAdventures
      @AikenAdventures  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s a good question. My personal opinion would be Magic Kingdom because our daughter could ride just about everything in Fantasy Land, but I’d recommend that you download that app, and just look over the rides available in each park, and try to decide which ones you think your toddler would like the most.
      A couple we didn’t ride in this video which are also available are the Magic Carpets in adventure land (they’re very similar to the Dumbo Ride), and the Adventures of Winnie the Pooh Ride.

    What other theme park you guys think is a good option for a toddler?

    • @AikenAdventures
      @AikenAdventures  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Vivian loves Fun Spot (there’s one in Kissimmee and one on International Drive) and it’s much less expensive than Disney World.
      Also, check out our Legoland videos. Vivian asks to go back all the time, and now, she would be tall enough to ride more rides.
      We’ve heard good things about Sea World for little children as well.
      Be sure to use our link for Undercover Tourist and save on theme park tickets. For Fun Spot, we can send you a link to some great Groupon deals as well.

    • @AikenAdventures
      @AikenAdventures  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      This is our favorite Groupon for Orlando Attractions. Fun Spot is included in the list. There is, also, a Groupon just for Fun Spot as well.

    • @AikenAdventures
      @AikenAdventures  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hope all of that helps! We also have videos about Legoland and Fun Spot if you’d like to see how Vivian reacts to those parks to get an idea for your own children.

    • @gmaine0759
      @gmaine0759 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you guys. Do you guys recommend me to go to sea world or LEGOLAND?

    • @AikenAdventures
      @AikenAdventures  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      We haven’t been to Sea World yet, so we can’t fully say, and also, each family situation is a little different. My recommendation would be to compare the ride height requirements at either park (one their website or download the peak app) and choose the one where your child(ren) could ride the most rides.

    So ridiculous that they are depriving children of the full disney experience.
