Sandy, thank you for doing vlogmas! You are one of the knitters who inspired me to start this craft 7 years ago. You have a beautiful family and I enjoy you sharing not only your knitting but your cooking and favorite things along the way. Letting ads play is a small way to show appreciation for all that you bring to the community! My kids have gifted me several of your project bags for Christmas over the years and always have a project in them in December next to the couch where I knit and watch vlogmas.
I say don’t spend your precious time worrying about editing out the ads. Anyone who watches any amount of TH-cam is conditioned to them by now; it just comes with the territory if you don’t want to pay for ad-free TH-cam, which I don’t. I’m so thankful for your vlogs, ads or no ads. I generally can’t make the time to watch them until evening and they bring a much needed feeling of peacefulness to my evenings. As always, thank you Sandy! 😊
Dear Sandy. Listen - You Tube is a part of your livelihood! You give us sooo much joy with vlogmas, and of course the adds should be there for you, absolutely ❤ Also, I am a new member of your patreon and so happy about it 🙂
Love your videos. Your voice is so calming. I have gotten so many great ideas, and items from you!! Thank you. I know it must be a lot of work, and time consuming but I, for one, really appreciate all you do for this community! Merry Christmas! Happy, healthy 2025!❤️
Thank you so much for looking into the ad situation! My husband is also a content creator, and those ads do add a small income trickle :) I just wish there was a way to pick and choose your ads. I don't know how they get tailored, but I tend to get the 10 - 40 minute ads. Sometimes that's all the break time I have I must be hungry because seeing that "food porn" clip, I'm going to head to Tipsy Cow for some poutine! They're the only place I know of in the Seattle area that makes it (correctly)
HI Sandy - I'm still here! And FYI I completely understand ads - they do come with the territory and are part of TH-cam whether we like it or not. Viewers just need to make their own decisions about their time. I appreciate your thoughts on the topic and your willingness to check it out and see what was going on. You and other vloggers give us hours of entertainment to knit by and we appreciate your time and energy!
Thanks for your comments on ads. In addition to your Vlogmas I also watch Christina @Chelsea Yarns, and Amanda @ Sweet Skein O Mine. I noticed just recently that there are more ads on all of your channels. Love all of your vlogs and I’m always inspired. Thanks to you my cookbook collection is growing! 😊
Glad you were able to haul in your Costco stuff with help from the boys. Costco Pizza sure helps when one is too tired to cook during the pre-Christmas lead up! ❤🥰🎅🏻🎄🎄🎄🎄
Thanks for doing Vlogmas - it’s been fun to follow along -love the knitting content & advents and the baking ( raspberry bars). I really love the retro advent calendar with just the picture - reminds me of my childhood - I need to try and find one of those for next year.

I love your vlogs and enjoy learning about your life. I also have two sons in college so your stories are relatable, plus I have an adult daughter. Thank you for sharing. ❤ Side note: It’s awesome that you can get poutine at Costco in Canada!
Love your Vlogmas. I just love it all. Inspiration is here… your making of meals I love watching. I have never watched the Little Women movie or read the books. I will need check it out. ( unfortunately TCM no longer is on my cable plan.. boo. ). Costco for me is on this Friday…. Getting ready!
I miss shopping at Costco but I definitely don’t miss carrying the groceries in the house! I don’t mind the commercials, I feel like watching them is the least I can do to support you guys. Once in a while TH-cam tries to slip in a really long one and I will fast forward those. Thank you Sandy for your lovely vlogs. Was that cod? 🌻🎄
I think you should leave the ads in! I can skip many of them, and you should be able to have the ads in to help support you and your channel. As a viewer who loves your content, watching a few ads here and there is one tiny way I can support you, and is no bother at all. Thank you for another lovely Vlogmas.
I don’t think anyone enjoys Costco parking lot 😂 I sure don’t. I hate the ads but I always assume TH-cam puts them in where they want - they add to mine and I don’t monetize my videos as yet so who knows. Always love your content ❤
I haven’t finished watching but would like to comment on ads. Yes, they are necessary to keep videos free to watch. But since I watch so many videos, I have splurged for a paid monthly subscription to TH-cam and thus have an ad-free viewing experience. Revenue is divided among all the creators that I am subscribed to.

I am in the US. I only see one ad on your videos. It is in the beginning. I have never seen any, any other time.
Hello from Swansea, Illinois. ❤❤

That's one of the reasons I pay for a premium youtube membership - no ads at all! I'm sorry they've upped it that much :(
