I don’t think the Browns problem is ONLY at QB, the line isn’t giving him enough time, avg. 1.5 seconds with the most pressures in the league. But Watson needs to make better decisions with the time he has. Also, Stephanski’s scheme doesn’t work without an All-Pro HB and a good line to give the QB the time to make the mid-range throws. The scheme should feature short-quick passes mixed with disguised runs (similar to the 2000s Patriots until the health of the line and Chubb improve. That should give Watson the time he needs behind the crappy o-line, the recievers the opportunity to minimize drops via more opportunities, and the backs the disguise they need to sneak through the first level.
As a (reluctant but proud) Browns fan, Emerson should have never been on Nabers. They made the adjustment in the second half, Ward shut him down. But the fact we allowed that mismatch to happen is awful.
Grossi, I agree. The NFL refs can't be perfect (no one can), and they are being judged by every person who watches 8 replays and slow motion and makes a highly informed judgement after several seconds. It doesn't help when the announcers call it out

Jordan Love is light years ahead of Bryce physically alone which is basically Bryce's whole problem. It's NOT his fault and I feel really bad for him. He should have never been drafted let alone drafted #1 overall. He's too little and too poor of an athlete. Look at the difference between him, Kyler, and Russell. Kyler and Russell are thick and were multi sport athletes. They are all roughly the same height. Biggest difference is Kyler and Russell(in his prime) can break tackles and be fast enough to get to spots on the field where they can see to throw or make the decision to tuck it and run. Kyler also looks quite a bit heavier than the 207 he weighed in at 5 years ago and I'd put him around the 215-220 Wilson plays at today. And Kyler specifically also has had trouble staying healthy and throwing over the middle too but he's still electric just on the pure athleticism Bryce lacks. Personally I wouldn't want any of these guys to QB my team either way. I'm also pumping the breaks on Love as well since you brought it up. 10 games is not enough to fit a guy for a gold jacket IMO. Lets see where he is in 2025 if he can stay on the field the rest of this year. He seems like a good dude though so I'm rooting for him to pick up where he left off last year. Also this is Year 2 for Bryce, not year 1. He's been so bad it feels like he's a rookie but he's not.

He's also not a good enough athlete to get to the edges or drop back far enough so that he CAN see the field because of the pressure his lack of field vision prompts from the defense.
Show the game full speed only one angle no rewinds at ground level. That is the game the officials see when they not looking at the ground to keep on their feet.
Refs probably did not see that play thanks to distraction and broken view
There was literally a ref on the back sideline watching it happen.
@@cmonkey3698Yes. And his view could have been obscured by the players on the field. They don’t have a dozen angles to sift through to see what happened. They have one view at great speed and requires an immediate response. If they don’t see the penalty, they can’t call a penalty. Fans have a completely unrealistic expectation of officials
Super bowl bound baby!!!!.... In like 3 or 4 years maybe. Go Broncos!! I like Nix and I have faith. Just not a lot this year lol. The building process is painful but it will be worth it.
Superbowl bound isn't something in the horizon for the Broncos.
8+7=15
Nobody's on Justin Jefferson's level currently and the past 3 seasons...........

@@Pxstran thank u
Raiders, Bronco's and Chargers are not going to do nothing, hopefully Pitt can beat the Chiefs, because the rest of the AFC west sucks. Go Raiders! ☠💀☠
Dammit - if the Vikings lose to Malik Willis then I’m going to be pissed. Sam Darnold deserves better. I don’t even LIKE the Vikings! And I don’t like the Jets or the Panthers either! But Jfc let’s just be real - Sam deserves to be in that MVP conversation for MORE than just 3 weeks (like he was in 2021 with the Panthers)
But also - thank you Tom for framing this correctly. That Chiefs Falcons game had such terrible officiating. In both directions. It was just terrible. But it benefited both teams. But it’s still infuriating because it’s just normalizing them doing a crappy job of officiating
“What if Bo nixed Kinda sucks” nice try buddy
