Good video for referencing. I have had reactivated EBV at least once & am suspecting it's been more than that. I have had lingering symptoms plus possible complications & am suspecting triggering effects going on with it all. In the past 5 years I have been dx with EBV, spherocytosis (genetic), & menopause, & that's on top of already having low thyroid (non-hoshimotos thus far). I've really been struggling for a 53yr old woman. Out of all the issues I've had, I feel like EBV is the one that gets ignored or minimized the most.
We have seen that as well. And very sorry to hear you have been struggling, hopefully this interview helps you figure out your next step to healing. You can read the written version of this on getwellbe.com and we'd love for you to join our community.
I believe my EPV was reactivated by a tropical parasite infection unsolved for 4 years, then my HSV1 got chronic active then swiftly moved to extremely sick. Had to move house pushed me over the edge, Now in treatment with DCM and very hopeful.
Found out I have mitochondrial disease and the EBV, so energy isn’t something I ever had. Been pushing through and it has NOT served me well. I think that those pushing past your limits isn’t a good thing. Our body are sending those signals for a reason, unless you are in a flight situation and needs to push trough to survive, you shouldn’t push trough.
I recently found out that I have Chronic EBV, finally! I can pinpoint it back to 1999 when I had mono after my son was born(born 11 weeks early). I believe it has never gone latent. I have/have had PCOS, endometriosis, toxic mercury poisoning, mold toxicity, hypothyroid, fibromyalgia to name a few. Wondering if my daughter should be tested as she was born when I would have been positive with the virus? 24:30
Ugh I'm sorry to hear that Jody but also must be good to finally have a root cause! It is possible to pass from mother to baby but it doesn't mean your daughter has active EBV necessarily...especially if she doesn't have an symptoms...but definitely worth including the next time she has blood work done!
