    It’s very true young animals are a real headache. Got some animals in Jan and a second group around 3 months later but the young animals till now have added very little. I am glad having such a platform that can give such knowledge. Preparing my land for pasture planting this Feb and I am putting down what to consider opening my feedlot end next year most hopefully.

    Am in Kenya and have been following you .
    I just harvested my feeds ..corn silage...
    Jan am making a simple structure like yours and take off.
    Have planted napier and am looking forward to planf more sorghum during the long rains.

    Can you please talk about watering the animals as they eat dry ratios they obviously consume a lot of water.How do you manage that Requirement?.
    Also,how do you control diseases or any out breaks since over crowding is common in feedlots set ups .Thanks Brian.

      Plant rosemary around your farm..these are good at chasing flies and also there some traps that are sold on the market that catch flies
