It’s very true young animals are a real headache. Got some animals in Jan and a second group around 3 months later but the young animals till now have added very little. I am glad having such a platform that can give such knowledge. Preparing my land for pasture planting this Feb and I am putting down what to consider opening my feedlot end next year most hopefully.
Thank you Brian for being such inspiration to young generation. I will be in ug in few months time and will definitely contact you for pasture seed please. 🙏🏻🙏🏻
Thankyou Brian. Am in Kenya and have been following you . I just harvested my feeds ..corn silage... Jan am making a simple structure like yours and take off. Have planted napier and am looking forward to planf more sorghum during the long rains. Keep it up and God bleds.
Question Thanks a lot for sharing. I would like to ask, were do you keep the cattle's at night? My self I'm new to small scale fattening but I couldn't get a specific answer to it thanks for the help in advance.
Can you please talk about watering the animals as they eat dry ratios they obviously consume a lot of water. How do you manage that Requirement?. Also, how do you control diseases or any out breaks since over crowding is common in feedlots set ups .Thanks Brian.
