Awesome stuff! Curious, what boots are you using for riding your 300l? I never had proper MX boots, I'm considering the Alpinestars Tech 3 Enduro boot.
Your content got me so excited to get back into riding man (been on dirt bikes since age 12). I’d been tossing up the CRF300L or a high performance enduro. I’m 34 and wondered whether the dual sport would suit me better at my current life stage (and the price is so attractive). I was repeatedly disappointed watching people ride the 300l who clearly do not know how to ride, and I wasn’t sure if the bike was shit or whether it was just them. Clearly, it was just them. So I’m in gratitude to you! My question is: when might you be releasing another video? Can’t wait - cos it’s gonna be a while till I can get my hands on one of these
Thanks @mattcann6926, I really appreciate it and I'm glad you're enjoying the content! As a resident of Canada my trails are pretty covered in snow at the moment, but keep an eye out in the spring, I have plenty of new content in the works!
Thanks, yeah that K-Tech suspension is well worth the price! I'm running Renthal Enduro bend 693. Also, I do plan to do some more live streams for sure!
Where do you stand on those Trackmaster 2's you've been running? I have a 300l and I've had a real hard time deciding. We seem to have somewhat similar tire requirements, and I just can't do the stock ones for another season. I'll likely end up studding them for next winter. Thanks for the great content. Take care
Hey @whitehat55, thanks for the support! I am really happy with the Trakmaster II rear, and I think the Southwick front is one of the best soft terrain DOT tires available. I did have a Trakmaster on the front of my 250L, and although it wasn't as good as the Southwick its still a fantastic tire, and probably better life on the road.
Do you reckon you could have similar fun on the Rally (with the k-tech upgrades )? I’m guessing they are the same chassis right ? I raced husky 125’s in enduro all through my 20’s, and after a long spell off riding I’ve ordered myself a rally for a bit of a ‘do it all’ bike . Was always a toss up with the L, but need some road work (1hr +) to get the the trials . Awesome content dude , hope your channel blows up 🙌🏻
Hey Mark, That's rad you used to ride a Husky 125, I did as well! Yeah, 100% I think the rally would be just as good in the woods. You might have to sacrifice some of the body work in the odd spill though. Thanks for the support!!
@@patoneill555 ‘04 husky , best handling bike I ever owned ! Nice one , planning on putting an angle grinder to the lower panels and just running a good skid plate (have you seen the cut versions !?👌🏻) at least then I can clean the thing properly . Cheers for the reply dude , all the best 🤙🏻
Hello. Sorry I missed the live Q&A. I just got a 300L in the fall. I'm a newer rider and will be using this as a "dual sport" style of riding. At 6'4" I'm a little taller than average. The stock handlebars don't allow me to stand on the pegs without bending over quite a bit. I was considering some taller bars and/or bar risers. Could you recommend some taller bars for the 300L?

Exhaust sounds AWESOME and the Suspension mods. What Renthal bar bend you got and will do you more of these in the future?

Did you get around to trying the Millville tire upfront?

How much did it cost for the suspension upgrades?
You should budget for between $1200 - $1500 CAD.
@@patoneill555 thanks for getting back to me it seems a bit steep but your video has me pretty much sold

@@tonymo967 if you are on FB. I have pics of my bike posted on there. I may do a TH-cam video of all the mods I have done. I have them on my 300l
