      I would build a compound with a small farm to grow ALL my fruits and vegetables. Later I would thin out sections to have a small group of cattle,sheep, hogs, and chickens, I would also plant multiple areas for wildlife . Then I would keep the rest untouched and wooded for the occasional deer if possible but honestly, I do not think this is the right property for that, this is too urban obviously. Thats what I want to do but in a different location, Utah, New Mexico, or Colorado perhaps. Great video sir, always enjoy them!

    I do not live in Norwichtown, but I volunteer for several animal rescue in the area. Norwich tax structure has become so insane no one can afford to own property or sell the property they own at profit because of this. The area in this video is a “campground” to a great deal of homeless. So take I to account the eviction process you will have to deal with. The area between the river and the property has many depressed housing, drug and crime issues.

    A sizeable number of people live and work in Norwich, as well as tourists perhaps visiting Mohegan Sun, or camping out for the summer. This spot is ripe for a tourist shopping destination, I mean the number of attractions and possibilities is endless. Local folks love the old Victorian architecture so I think building in that style would be a dream come true.

    I would build a homestead of 10 acres in the middle and a cabin by the lake. The wooded area would stay for resources as needed and replenished. Hopefully there would be water and mineral right. And if possible I would use it for hunting to supply my homestead with meat.

    I love your company and was so excited to see one in southern New England. But I knew it was Norwich as soon as I saw the marina. Norwich itself is sketchy and that area is even moreso. (We lived just north of that for 3 years and would never go back.)
    But please, more New England!

      @@LoftisforTreasurer I lived there for 3 years. I never went outside unless I was getting in my car to leave. We had the cops stop by MULTIPLE TIMES to ask if we knew anything about a recent stabbing / shooting / domestic violence incident in the area. So, yes, Norwich, especially in that area is trashy. And they once filmed a low budget zombie flick downtown because everything was already boarded up and trashed. So yes, it is also run down.

    The Thames River is NOT pronounced like the British one; instead Th is pronounced the Same as for the th in saying think. I would create a large conservation property where natural resources are protected for Peace, Serenity, and Wildlife to roam. Being close to the Casinos, it would be a natural draw for the indigenous people to roam, recreate, educate, and flourish.

    I would like to build an equestrian park nestled in the woods with cross country and eventing arena barns and stalls. added to this would be a resort hotel including fine dining and shops. Polo, Drassage, Cross country, Fox hunts and more. Rose gardens and vineyards complimenting the resorts wine cellar and fine dining experience. I would hope to provide a hundred plus jobs and a place to absorb the racing industry's off track thoroughbred horses. Riding school, training and equine medical center all on site giving the local university a place for Veterinarians and Vet. Techs to study and do their residency with state of the art rehabilitation center. Having the largest horse population of any new england state it is an excelent opportunity to give back to the community and the animal that has plowed our fields, hauled our goods and even took part in building our railroads. I would keep the canopy of trees in as much a natural state that would compliment the natuaral park like setting. Preserving the eco system that provides and protects natural habitat.

      I thought of it specifically for this property. Though I do have dreams of equestrian centers as such I can see the untimate reality of the vision in this property. I have built all types of properties and I have a passion for horses animals and nature. I have my sight on other property in to support the Equicenter providing hay for horses and beef/wine and beer for the resort. In Wa. State.
      But i am merely a dreamer. I have built hundreds of homes and own none. I hope one day I could make something like this happen... God willing... i will!

    • @trilycos8813
      @trilycos8813 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I can visualize how it all looks... God has blessed me with vision.
      I see cobblestone roads and riding trails... Old colonial stye architecture with half stone and halfwoodframed walls. I can smell the roses and grapevines that divide the terraces that divide the individual dining areas outside giving each table a private little retreat to enjoy the finest culinary masterpieces. I see horse drawn carriages carrying off a newlywed couple. I see a barn of grad design bustling with riders readying for todays lessons and shows. I see all this in the cool canopy of trees allowing for mild temeratures and spotted prairies to which events like jumping, polo and dressage are happening. I see a cross country track that winds through the lofty Oaks with rider trainers amounted the years new crop of two year olds. I see a equine facility with aqua tredmills and a swimming area for the horses. Horses are never" broken" here they are "Willed" never breaking their spirit : and young riders never using the word Can't.
      This is my dream :)
