Eden was kept seperate from everyone by their delegation and Bambie literally said, “god forbid we’d have a conversation and share our views and maybe come to a place of understanding”. The boycott was for Israel’s participation not against Eden personally.
Glad you enjoyed it anyways. When I first watched it live I was confused till I noticed Pagan symbols from our history and then understood why they went with the mad outfits was due to Halloween and when Ireland created it back then. Israel did a great job so congrats on getting those big points. I was kinda surprised seeing Israel getting 10 points from Ireland, as you know the medica and stuff, but glad our Irish judges understood this is a music contest. It was bad to see the person getting booed at but fair play to her for sticking around and doing her part for her country. Hopefully Israel takes part again when its on.
I hated it the first time i saw it. But it started growing on me and now I really appreciate the artistry of the performance and the song has been on repeat in my head. Unlike most of the jurors (and many of the contestants), I can separate the performer from their politics. I just don't watch any of Bambie Thugs interviews.
Haha, he looks very Israeli (I say who traveled several times to Israel). The look from his eyes, his attitude. Israeli are from the Levant. Just some are more or less mixed with Middle-Eastern, Africans, Europeans, Indians etc. over the centuries.
@@Firefly763 Actually he could pass as Levantine looks wise, though I found his overall attitude and demeanor very relatable for me even more than for my Lebanese partner f.e. as a Kurd. I think Israel has a lot of ME Jews but indeed some Ashkenazi and Sephardim (Spain, Portugal and their neighbours) have been overrepresented I guess where I looked.

Our Pagan history my guy, they are mostly dressed all crazy as Ireland created Halloween and most of those symbols you see on her forehead has an Irish meaning and on the floor and candles thing on the bar, can't think of the name lol We Irish are just glad we took the chance and went with something different this year, 6th place is a win for us haha Israel did a great job as well

My grandaughter talked about having nightmares after seeing bambis performance.
