As a vintage Star Wars collector, I’m going to have to disagree with your assessment, my dude. It’s pretty much a perfect representation of the Kenner Jawa, which was also the same price as the other figures in the original line. They changed from the vinyl cape to the cloth robe to give it some additional value... The only thing I’d change is the attached blaster, which definitely sucks. It would definitely be cooler if it was a separate piece and had a blue cast. Other than that I dig it a lot for the Kenner tribute that it is. You were spot on about them needing to pair them with droids though. I need a Gonk already!
I completely agree. The original has the robe on robe, so I'm glad they went with both. They nailed the colour. It's pricey for its size, I agree, but I still can't wait to get mine.

I was dusting and rearranging my collection the other day, and at one point I stopped, looked around, and asked myself, “what am I doing with my life?” I had no answer. I am taking a break from the action figure game for a while. We justify and we compromise. We scrimp and we save. Why? Just so Hasbro can sell us something we don’t really want and certainly don’t need. I must be off my meds. On the plus side, great video as always MK.👍

These Kenner looking figures are great. The cards with the chrome Star Wars lettering and the image of Luke and Leia look so majestic.

I'm not very impressed by the jawa. I'm very jealous of the Obi-Wan Kenobi in Kenner color. I hope they make that figure available again. Great video as usual friend

original jawa only had the one rifle, so the decision here makes sense. might grab a couple from Amazon warehouse and modify by cutting away excess plastic robe and hood. nice review 👌

I would not have bought this. But would have ordered the Greedo If they werent $25. At the point now where the only characters that would interest me are Cantina Aliens and Band Members mostly. Until I get the Vaccination and another job, that's the way it will be. Besides, I think I just got screwed over on the GTP spacewalls dude on the Tantive 4 Preorder. Fully expect people to start blowing up on TH-cam about it, if he doesnt say somethng soon.

Hasbro’s gonna get your cash! The decision makers intentionally limit product to have future offerings. Jawa and droid is a perfect idea. $30-35 cost is appropriate. So suck it Hasbro for intentionally taking advantage of the fans of this property you make product for.

The Jawa on the far fight thats plastic looks better than this one and so does the off world jawa. The Outer Robe with the under robe just makes him too bulky.

This is how everyone should send blister cards, period - for both 3.75" and 6" figures. I can't tell you how often I've had the card crushed or bent, it's really why I try and get carded figures like this in-store or just buy a case outright. As someone who is both an opener and in-box collector, the extra care is always appriciated!

The too small and stiff holster makes the attached gun even more troublesome at times. It was not very difficult to take off the cloth robe on my second jawa, without having to take off the head or pouches. Getting the robe back on however or onto a different jawa may take more patience 👍🏼

I like to keep these on the card but I do like the Kenner color. They should have given it the vinyl cape.

Still kicking myself for not getting Kenobi. I passed on this too, only because I think it should have come with a vinyl cape. I guess if one has an extra Kenobi, they can take the vinyl from that one and make one for the Jawa.

Now I don't know if that is Hasbro or Amazon using the Brown Shipper Box's but I believe that it's both, who have finally learned that us Collectors are fed up with damaged product and are now using protection for these special figs. I received mine like urs but it was also in another box, hurrah at last. I got the 4-LOM and Zuckass pack sent from the USA to the UK and it was trashed badly, so I sent it all the way back for a full refund. Now with the cost of a trashed box and the Shipping both ways it must of Cost Hasbro and Amazon a bit of money. Guys if u get trashed Box's send that shite right back, unless of course u really can't get another.
They come from Hasbro like that, so I don’t know if it’s amazon being smart or lazy.

Oooooh....you opened that exclusive Boba Fett, perhaps the most expensive 6” Black Series ever. I was lucky enough to get one of those the 10 seconds it was for sale on Hasbro Pulse back in the day, but no way I’m opening mine. I get being an opener and not giving a rat’s ass, but some figures just stay mint in box. And that Boba stays mint in box...😏
I opened it on screen the moment i got it. I buy figures because i like them and want them, not because of how expensive they are.
