    Fantastic to hear Automatic man again, a vastly underated band, soul rock fusion.
    It dont get any better than this

      Imagine what must have been to actually see them play live. Nothing came close to this ever again.

    I remember me and my keyboard player finding this at the mall back in '77 and turning the rest of the band on to it. We didn't have a clue as to how to play it, but it changed all of our perceptions as to what could and can be played if you want to be on the leading edge of the next big wave.

    What incredible musical power and chemistry among the 4 band members!
    The overall chops & skill level of those guys was sky-high (especially for the late 70s).
    What I'd give for a time machine to go back and hear them LIVE.

    Was temporarily staying in a trailer at Reno, and some rocker before me had this album with the stereo, 1978 I suppose. Have this currently in CD player of car, and it's hammered. Have the albums in storage, blue and pink. This I've had a few LP's a couple of CD's, maybe a cassette. ? Could be over a thousand times listened to over all these years...!
    {Still love sparkin' up a bowl to go along with it...lol}

    i am getting such a rush hearing this stuff again..imagine if people actually decided what was good muzic...if they actually got an opportunity to hear stuff. this came out during the time where disco was pumping hard and new wave was just coming in..not to mention that hip hop and punk were bubbling up from the underground..this is/was "fusion rock+r&b"..no one was ready...so..you have to wait for things like this to happen..glad they finally do...

    Saw them open for Montrose at Winterland in SF. Its a shame they only released two albums. I also bought it because of the cover and because they had a keyboard player. I still wear a T-Shirt with the man on it.
