I’m 3 hours from Knoxville TN. My Dad was born and raised there. He moved to NC at age 16 and met my Mom. I spent the majority of my childhood in TN, you absolutely can’t beat it in the Fall, gorgeous. But I have to say the NC Mountains does give TN a run for its money in the Fall 🍁 🍂 ❤ All the orchards are a must in the Fall.
@@KailynCash You can’t go wrong with Black Mountain, beautiful small town with amazing restaurants and stay at the Monte Vista Hotel, gorgeous. The town of Old Fort, 10 mins from Black Mountain, Hillman Brewery and Go Go’s cinnamon rolls are a must. Hendersonville is Apple Orchard City, Grandads Apple Orchard is beautiful and perfect for Children, best apple slushy ever! Most people love Boone and Blowing Rock but for me they are way to commercialized. Hope this helps.

Sounds like a great fall bucket list! A pumpkin patch and Vintage Market trip is always on our bucket list. I also love making soups and chili along with making soups. Unfortunately my husband doesn’t care for soup or chili so I don’t make it as often as I would if he enjoyed it too. Fortunately my adult daughter lives close and doesn’t cook well, so when I make a big batch of soup or chili I share it with her.

I am having my 2nd Annual Harvest Party with a group of other ladies made up of family and friends. We are having an autumn salad with apple cider vinegarette.. , also roasted butternut squash soup, apple cheddar chicken sliders.. for dessert apple crisp squares .. After lunch we are doing a craft.. chunky yarn pumpkins using cream colored chunky yarn and twig or small branch for the stem .. we will have Apple Cider Mimosa’s.. That is coming up in October .. it will be fun. It was so beautiful that day last year we held it outside .. hoping to do that this year. Have a wonderful time with yours . Hayrides, carve pumpkins, harvest festival , apple orchard , fall baking, and yes soups and turkey chili.. so many things to look forever to. Just love fall! Thank you again . I make a bucket list for every season as well. I'm sad that I won't be making one this Fall as I am not very mobile. I'm awaiting November 17th hip replacement. Great hall decor, love the way you styled it. The turkey chilli looked very yummy. I make a similar vegetarian chilli thought of adding turkey or chicken to it. 🍁
Kailyn, I have been researching the artist Robert Wood and how to tell if the print is an original or reproduction. Very few of Wood’s paintings had the brass plate on the front. But, the best way tell if it is an original is… if you turn the painting over you should see stretcher bars and canvas. Reproductions will have brown paper or cardboard. An original is left open because the canvas needs to breathe.

Love your videos! We went to Gatlinburg in the middle of November and the leaves were beautiful. We even saw a few bears. Dollywood is super fun for all ages! They have fall and Christmas festivals.

You need to make a Carmel apple cake it’s so good it’s our favorite fall dessert and chocolates chip pumpkin bread, and pumpkin crunch cake ! I love making candles I’m actually going to my mother in law’s tomorrow evening to make fall candles she has all the stuff !
