So much fun in Brazil. Markets, parks, the food. I could eat all day. And Açaí bowls will be my downfall because I can't get enough. So much fun.
I have a friend who is from São Paulo. They said that most people wouldnt walk with their phones out because someone would snatch it. But you seem to have no problem so maybe they were exaggerating. Thank you for this awesome video 🙏
I was told the same by people who live there. I was anxious getting that info but I kept swear of my surroundings, tucked it back in my bag after filming and such. I did see others with their phones out so I just access the parts where I would take it out. But it turned out fine. Can’t say it will always turn out fine lol but yeah.
Loved the video! I’m wanting to go Brazil soon since I study Portuguese here in the states..how would you say the security was over there for a male solo traveler? Did you run into any shady things on your trip?
We had no issues with safety or security. With that said everyone including the Airbnb host and locals we met emphasized keeping phones and such out of site. I filmed with my go pro walking around, being aware of where I was and only at certain times, took pics with my iPhone and such and we were fine. I never really felt unsafe. If you do go have fun and take precautions.
There are places in Brazil safer than US.
Look for santa catarina state.
