Yeah, this video was definitely fast, but I'd rate it in the B tier for racing. While it has an impressive top speed, it falls short in terms of cornering and acceleration. These factors are crucial for overall performance on the track.

I haven’t purchased any of the new vehicles yet so that’s why i waited for this. Now I know what I need to get (for stunt races ect)
Yeah, the Niobe with HSW is now my favorite car. It use the be the LaCourse but one thing about the LaCourse is because it’s small and light, it sometimes act like a go kart . I don’t know how to describe it. The Niobe on the other hand feels much more balanced and you can feel the weight more..
Paragon is my fav from this dlc. Love how noticable the 50% front and 50% rear power is. And the body roll and the weight of the car is very noticable too. I love it.

Kind of crazy some of these HSW cars are reaching realistic-ish speeds now ( in fact the Niobe is slightly faster than it's IRL counterpart )
Since PC still doesn't have HSW upgrades, im impressed with the default Niobe, and it might become my default car! I always hoped that they add a better BMW i8 and it performing decently is a big bonus!
This the first time a i8 has been added.
The SC1 is based off a M8 concept cat
So the HSW upgrade for the Niobe seems kinda worth it

HSW are usually destroying classes and creating mess like sports cars being way faster than most supers etc.

I'm happy that the euros x32 it's not that slow. Usually i look in first person to see the (not really accurate)top speed and omg i'm so happy that it wasn't the real top speed at all. According to the game the car was barely reaching 100 mph. The speedometer is really broken on this one.
The coquette d1 and the Envisage have a pretty accurate speedometer (i have only those other two i don't know about the others).

God every car in this DLC is amazing they really do drive well. I personally don’t care about lap times that much anymore but man do these cars look and feel great. The Niobi has some really cool details too and looks honestly better than the BMW I8

Couple of Must Buys for me, the Paragon S will probably replace my beloved Paragon R Armoured as my daily driver, and the Envisage and Niobe are just cool.

Despite me not liking all of the car choices rockstar chose to add. They did certainly make them nice to drive which is a nice change of pace of some of the dlcs prior where some still had nasty flags on them.

Perhaps it wasn’t HSW upgraded? There are so many reasons. It’s not really a reliable indicator.

envisage is a hydrogen powered vehicle 🤓☝️
the N Vision '74 on which it is based has a hydrogen fuel cell but all that does is provide power to the electric motors that provide the actual propulsion. It's like any other EV except it generates its own power rather than needing to be charged by external sources
BMW i8 should have had a comical 100mph top speed and horrendous lap time, since it's a disappointment irl too

It's fine there, the issue is rather that many Sports cars should be in Coupes like the Remus, RT3000, Euros, Penumbra, Penumbra FF...

What I like about these new cars is how smooth they are. But even the Coquette is a joy to drive despite being a bit rough on kerbs. What's crazy is that the Dominator and the Benefactor felt even smoother when I tried them on project homecoming. These are literally the best cars we got in years

@@broughy1322 I love the Coquette particularly. Similar to the S2000 from the Tuners update, it has a proper camera that's nice and close to the car, not raised up in the air, and has a proper damage model as well.

I noticed that the Pipistrello has a turbo upgrade despite being a electric car. Was it intentional by Rockstar or just an oversight?
I don't mind the Impalers moved from Sedans to Muscle but at least they could have keep it raceable in Sedans like the Schafter V12 case

There’s a few, but they don’t go into as much detail like Broughy does. The only other person that I found that came close and was a really good alternative was Stock Boy Gaming, but he’s since stopped making videos.

At this point why even have sports and super as multiple classes if they are going to be the exact same speed lol
the irony that the fucking i8 of all cars is the 2nd fastest land vehicle in the game in a straight line and beats out almost every single OPEN WHEELER around a track is absolutely hilarious. you can't make that up
not to mention the BULLET is faster than a 3 million dollar Hypercar by 2 mph is insanely funny. this update isn't great but the cars and their performance are some of the best we've got
Fact finding video suggestion:
A very small number of cars seem to have a significant performance difference between PS5 & PC, which really needs investigating. Most of the cars which gained time/tiers with the PS5 retesting were ones we already knew were faster on PC. But there's a few cars (such as the Tailgater S, Coquette D1) which now appear to be so much faster on PS5 than PC.
It would be so useful to re-test say 3-6 selected cars on PC to compare with PS5. See if the apparent difference in performance is real. (Maybe it's due to the changes made to E&E to decouple FPS from car performance?)
A friend & I tried for two days (on PC) to find a track to race the Coquette D1 on for a playlist. We provisionally assigned it to tier D and tried different types of track, but on every single track the D1 was multiple seconds slower than the Savestra. In the end we gave up, dropped to tier E and found it slotted in neatly between the Pigalle & Z-type.

Interesting. I watched a drag race of the Pipistrello vs the Virtue and the Virtue seemed to have better acceleration. Plus, according to your testing, it also has slightly higher top speed. But the Pipistrello still got better lap time. What gives? Is it due to better grip/cornering/handling?
Exactly, pipi much more grip. More proof that drag races are useless indicators of performance 😅

I redid a most wanted bounty Grace Whitney I brought her in alive the first time on day one of the dlc and the second time I just wanted to see what happened if I eliminated her upon completion of the second time around it removed my check mark from my career challenge but left my award for get Whitney. I tried to submit a ticket to Rockstar but they don't know how to fix it kept telling me to clear my cache, unlink my account, switch sessions. WTF knowing Good and well that none of that would work. I finally said I guess I just have to wait until she comes around again and hopefully it rechecks off the box, they wrote back glad we could be of assistance your problem has been marked as solved 😒. Has anyone else had this issue? It doesn't appear to affect regular bounties because I did the same thing for them and it did not uncheck the box but from now on I'm bringing them all in alive just to be safe.

Have the Euros X32 (HSW) changed up the tiers of the coupés class? The 4 top vehicles now seems too far apart from each other in lap time to be lumped altogether in S tier. I guess your most likely choice would be to have the Euros X32 (HSW) on its own at the top while preserving the balance of the other 3 now in A tier?
