I have two pens from this Company...one for blue and one for black.
I must say they are good pens that have a good weight to them and the nib is good!

I noticed a couple times now that you're not filling the converter much. To get more ink in the converter, after drawing the ink in, push it back out into the bottle. Repeat this a few times. Each time it draws in more ink than it did the previous time. I don't understand why this works, but it does. I hope this helps. I wish they had a silver or black version of that pen. Very cool.

I have been trying this, I am only getting a little more, not much more. Should I be doing it as a certain speed?

@@gregandpens1334 do you start with the plunger all the way down? I've seen others start with the plunger up, insert the nib all the way into the ink up to the very beginning of the grip, then plunge it down and up a few times, relatively slowly. My guess is you don't have the nib completely in the ink. It should work.

rodium is the stuff people use to weld the material just on the tip of the nib that touches the paper it is put on with a welder and a very thin blade splits it in half than its ground into a ball or a stub or whatever size tiping is there f is for fine m is for medium and b is for broad 1.1 mm 1.5mm etc. the inside is called a cartridge converter .. the darkness is called shading and the light bit i dont know if it has a name but i call it the light bit ..the flow is implied by the amount of ink comes out at a time and that has a lot to do with the angle of the pen the tilt of the nib to paper if its like _\| or |/_ or \|/ try to make sure that the nib breather hole on top of the nib is facing the sky that way you have good flow and the inky gets between the tines through the slit down to the tip of the nib in an even amount some pens are also better at the nib rotation some will write upside down if you try but some are really scratchy and some wont work at all and some are really good at writing upside down and some arent .. i really like the dragon thats the coolest part .. great video keep up the good work ... i hope this helps pardon my punctuation im not good at that

Shading refers to the dark AND light.

I just bougjht this in red as part of a crazy Black Friday Ali Express pen shopping spree. All the rest were Jinhaos.
The 891 is the model #. I almost bouight Parker ink too - you would think that Parker would be good. I read that Waterman Serenity Blue is good to have around because it is very stable and works well in any pens. It's recommended for beginners. I like it and it does work well in all my pens. I even refilled the cartridges in my discontinued Zebra rollerball with it and it's good. Let you know how it is in this one when I get it.
