Adachi's 2D is also basically the Persona part of Yu's Cross Slash, but obviously takes longer

For me, this theme should be named "a new fool's conviction". Adachi is shown to respect the rules that are imposed to everyone after losing to Yu's team in the events of persona 4 (for me, both the normal persona 4 and golden version are Canon, but happen in different universes.) Adachi now wish to protect society's rules, even if he doesn't like them.
I mean you can believe the different universes stuff but that still leaves us with one canon timeline. And as is basically proven with P4 Arena the Canon one is Golden.

There's another excellent fic too, Wanted It To Be A Game. Thankfully it was a completed fan fic. While the two's role are reversed: Adachi still the asshole detective but now the hero and the IT's leader; and Yu's still the student but he's the one who accidentally murdered someone there.
for anyone reading these replies, personally I liked "The Fool Reversed" way more than "Wanted it to be a game." to me, it has a much more engaging premise and introduction, and the way the author wrote the characters I feel is very in character and feels realistic to what would happen if a younger adachi swapped with yu. even the ooc changes the author makes to the characters and story are pretty great. As for "Wanted it to be a game," I don't really know what to think, I wasn't able to get invested. The interaction between the characters just feel kind of surface level and you never really get to see the part of truly ugly side of adachi that pushes people away and only acts only for his own sake. I was only able to power through to chapter 25 so maybe it gets better? but i really don't see it happening. I also really don't like some of the new things they added but that just might be me. this is all to really say that I hope someone reads these fic because I want to talk about them.
People make fun of Adachi but he’s one of my favorite parts of Persona 4. I did the Accomplice Ending before continuing onto the main path and loved it. Sometimes a villain doesn’t need to be super deep or anything. They just need to be fun and enjoyable enough for me

For me, this theme should be named "a new fool's conviction". Adachi is shown to respect the rules that are imposed to everyone after losing to Yu's team in the events of persona 4 (for me, both the normal persona 4 and golden version are Canon, but happen in different universes.) Adachi now wish to protect society's rules, even if he doesn't like them.
That is a really good name, it really matches this songs aura
I mean you can believe the different universes stuff but that still leaves us with one canon timeline. And as is basically proven with P4 Arena the Canon one is Golden.

There's another excellent fic too, Wanted It To Be A Game. Thankfully it was a completed fan fic.
While the two's role are reversed: Adachi still the asshole detective but now the hero and the IT's leader; and Yu's still the student but he's the one who accidentally murdered someone there.
for anyone reading these replies, personally I liked "The Fool Reversed" way more than "Wanted it to be a game." to me, it has a much more engaging premise and introduction, and the way the author wrote the characters I feel is very in character and feels realistic to what would happen if a younger adachi swapped with yu. even the ooc changes the author makes to the characters and story are pretty great.
As for "Wanted it to be a game," I don't really know what to think, I wasn't able to get invested. The interaction between the characters just feel kind of surface level and you never really get to see the part of truly ugly side of adachi that pushes people away and only acts only for his own sake. I was only able to power through to chapter 25 so maybe it gets better? but i really don't see it happening. I also really don't like some of the new things they added but that just might be me.
this is all to really say that I hope someone reads these fic because I want to talk about them.

I would say that Akechi was more of a chaotic neutral. I mean, his intentions were based solely on revenge, and while he was much more fleshed out in Royal, I really doubt that he had much of a change of heart.
