- A black and white scene depicts a group of bored soda-drinking children. Fortunately, Punchy just so happened to be hanging out around the park and he possesses the ability to transform generic soft drinks into Hawaiian Punch. This serves two primary functions... the kids' disposition improves significantly and consuming the beverage magically colorizes their universe. To celebrate the recent developments, the children embark on a coordinated "punch dance" down the street, which draws the ire of a resident along their route. Punchy handles the situation by literally punching the dude in the face, converting him into yet another of his minions.

Before I found Purple, I wondered why they would make Yellow, but still leave out Purple.
it's funny how 1991-1992 were two years that can be immediately visually identified. other years are no so easily identified. maybe as i get older i just get worse at it.

Has anyone here had tasted these? I used to drink Fruit Juicy Blue in small juice boxes. Some old sources say that these non-red beverages tasted just like the red. I disagree. To me, Fruit Juicy Blue tasted like "berry".
If I did, it would have been around the same time as this commercial. I never really got into Hawaiian Punch. I was a Squeezit or HiC kinda kid.
Man I just absolutely loved Hawaiian Punch as a kid but now I don't like it at all due to just how sugary it is!!
So i'm pretty sure they use the number 10% to make it look like 100% fruit juice haha, I had to go back and double take. Does it taste weird now to anyone else that had it in the 90s and early 2000's ish?
