11-12-23: Hi. I loved your tutorial and got some good ideas from you that I will use on books and cards. However, as an FYI to you, to make a button that has a "shank" on the back of it (the "notch" you spoke of) stay in place without any worry, instead of using a wire, make the hole large enough to push the shank through it, then put a paper clip through the shank hole and lay it down till its flat against the inside front cover. Tape it in place and that baby will stay in place permanently. It's just another way of doing it, but your way is good too. Thank you for sharing! 😉
