I am new to Crokinole and introduced it to my board gaming friends. It was a huge hit. I am looking forward to playing this game for a long time and it seems like the Crokinole community is also a great laid back bunch of people. Really like the vibe between the players and the interaction with those watching. It is competitive, but friendly.
This is why I prefer watching Doubles matches instead of Singles, especially at such a chatty table. You really get to hear the thought processes that go in to every shot. Great match all around
Those beierling brothers must communicate telepathically…they just go for the shots with a head nod or finger point. Great match and fell in love with doubles play watching this one.
I have no idea how I got here or that this even existed but here I am stuck watching this crazy flicking action, What are they doing when they run the stones in the groove on the outside of the board?
They are getting the powder/wax on their discs. Makes it slide faster on the board. You sprinkle the powder/wax in the ditch, not on the playing surface itself
This match had everything -- even some rare shot types made it in! Truly one for the record books.
Great match!! If I had realized it was going to go back and forth like that I would have booked a 1/2 day off and made popcorn.

Competitive but friendly is the best vibe!

Ray.... You've got the most hair of anyone at the table!
Excellent game play description, the announcer is a real pro.

Great match! Who is providing commentary? A really good job.
Connor Reinman is on the mic
Round 4 was incredible
The Ray Beierling guy is a damn sniper, every time i've seen him play at least.
I wonder what Jason said to get the death stare from Tracey at the beginning lol.
Good question, Simon. You know almost any doubles game involving Jeremy is usually going to be a quiet, somber affair.
@@ronlangill8689 yup, that's me... quiet and somber
The most obvious conclusion to be made after watching this video is that playing Crokinole at a high level results in massive hair loss. :)
Tracey really is just bogus.. lmao
The lowest average hair per player of any doubles match ever
