I saw this video a week or so ago and I just want to thank you for sharing your experience. I'm also so sorry this happened to you. I had placed an order for a doll from Still Moments Nursery, but luckily I hadn't paid anything on it yet and now I'm for sure not going to!
I'm sorry you feel this way, please know that we have since corresponded and the issues were resolved ,I have offered to make a brand new reborn, that hopefully she can bond with. I'm just waiting on a reply. I did refund her for the missing items as it was my fault for missing them and I am truly sorry. My customers are important to me and if they have any issues I do my best to address them.
I finally got my reborn I bought after three years of waiting and it was a scam. She sent a picture of the doll I would be receiving and was very happy with that but the doll I received was different you have to pay $325 bucks for a rooted doll that cost more than the doll ,the doll that arrived was darn near bald.😢. I asked her to please fix this and will return the head she said yes for a$150 more bucks 😠 plus the reborn was very white so I added some color to her face and lips.dont buy from still moments nursery way to much money for a bad doll! my experience. I have totaly reconstructed my doll painted her, stuffed her put the right size eyes in and added some hair what a big booboo i made when purchasing from a crappy artists that charges an arm and a leg. Sorry you didnt get what you paid for horrible. Glad i now reborn my dolls and was able to fix mine.

I am going to say, that this is not even the baby you ordered. I think because it has been so long and your baby still wasn't done, ( because I have heard, that Nikki tends to over-extend herself and take on too many orders,) she has just given you a baby doll. This doll hasn't even been reborned correctly. I am a 10 year veteran of reborn collecting and there is absolutely no way on this earth, that this baby is worth anywhere near $900 AUD. You must demand your money back, which I am sure she will want to do, as she surely wouldn't want you to show this baby as her work.

I have ordered 10 babies from Nikki, I just received my first two babies last week and recieved the photos on my third order. I've waited a year for my girls so far. I was reading the comments on this video and I do have to agree with one of the members who has left a comment about the air dry paints. I do have to say that Air Dry paints are alot different then heat set paints... You can get way more in depth and way more levels of mottling and just way more details in general with the heat set paints. Keeping that in mind her skin is going to look alot different from your other babies if they are heat set paints. I'm not defending her... Just wanted to put that out there. I do agree with you about the milk pimples... The rooting job... And the clothes that you didn't get. I'm trying to wrap my head around it... Doesn't make much sense to me as I own her work and I've been wathing her videos for 2 years now.... It doesn't seem like her typical work. I definitely don't see a baby that's worth $900 bucks. I'm so sorry that your so disappointed! 😞
so far I've been waiting Almost 2 years for my custom order, the pics were done a year ago but somehow doll still hasn't even been shipped yet, I'm trying to be positive or and charitable but I am struggling to see why its taking so long to put doll in the post and the more time that passes the more I'm convinced I've paid a lot of money for something I may never get I've tried reaching out to Nikki gently but kinda feel like I'm being fobbed off with excuses, my order has been on its way to be shipped for the best part of a year....any advice or have I just lost a load of money? xx
I am glad you notice the lack of quality, when you did the box opening I was stunning when I saw it, 5 years for that are you kidding me. I feel so sorry for you is completely unacceptable the lack of Quality for that amount of money You definitely should do something about it and claim a refund I am see better dolls for less amount of money. On Feb 11 2014 I ordered a reborn toddler from SMN. I got him on April 16 2016. I waited more than 2 years for my doll. The doll itself is fine but the stuff he came with looked like some random things that Nikki just threw in the box. I do know I will never order from her again though.
I would be furious, this looks like a regular doll from Walmart, very poor quality, what a disaster. I really hope you get a refund. I thought SMN was a reputable company, thank you for posting, won’t be buying there.
You're right, I agree this doll is not up to my regular standard so I have offered a replacement baby, just awaiting a reply. We have corresponded earlier via email and the issues were resolved . I did refund what I forgot, but I shouldn't have forgotten in the first place, and I'm really sorry. I truly hope to make a her a Reborn baby she can really bond with.
I am so confused on how you waited 5 years for her and payed that much money and she looks like that with hardly any of the stuff you asked for. She shipped my doll after a year and 9 days and I am currently waiting for her because that was only a few days ago, but I do not understand how she can make one person wait 5 years and another person only have to wait 1. Also I don't want to sound rude, but the baby doesn't look as realistic as her other work has.

I am really sorry you got such a poor quality baby. I would be heartbroken. I have several reborns that I paid in the $900 range for and there is no comparison to the doll you received. All of mine are beautifully rooted with detailed painting and came with many lovely outfits and accessories that were included in the price. I would have asked for a full refund.
Hello Nadia, I agree she was not the quality that I had paid for or expected. Her accessories were not what I had hoped either. All in all a very disappointing experience.

Happened to me too, maybe three years back? Absolutely awful quality. Hair was disgusting and felt akin to pubic hair. Absolutely no detail. I have never been more disappointed in my life.

Hi. I got a refund for the items that were missing only so in total she refunded about $100. I did not get a refund for the items that I paid for but that I believe were not as described or up to the quality it should.
Reborn Mummy The clothing pack, birth mark, milk spots, and beating heart total far more than $100. Different than you, I really found her quite pleasant to work with, but I do think she takes on more work than she can handle. I love Elizabeth, and I'd love to have more of Nikki's babies, but I really don't think I would be willing to wait so long again. Elizabeth's painting seems quite different from Bella's, and I'm quite fond of her rooting as well. If the quality had been lower I would have addressed it more aggressively, but all told I was happy enough to have her despite the fact that some of my bits weren't present.
I wanted to know how could this turn out for you did you get a refund how did it turn out with the doll I put in order in about 2 weeks ago and I sent the money order and for payment and haven't gotten anything back from her she said that the money order heading it arrived just why she couldn't make my baby which was frustrating but every time I update her there's no recent change and I'm concerned that I may be getting scammed so I wanted to know from somebody who's brought here before

Nikki has a 6 year old daughter. don't get me wrong but I think her daughter might've interrupted her so much that she might've lost focus and forgotten. but that really doesn't look like a good reborn, hers were much better before her daughter was born.

I don't think there's any question here, you did not receive what you paid for. Me personally would never wait 5 years for a doll, too impatient I guess! You have all the proof you need, the invoice and the doll. I would hesitate to ask for the doll to be done right, who knows how long that would take. A refund in full would be nice, if not a refund for all the items you did not receive. I hope you can get some satisfaction on this. Sorry she wasn't what you waited so long for.
You need to contract them with your concerns and if no luck how did you pay for her ? PayPal if so you can go to them with your concerns and they will help you get a refund and I think if you played by credit card you can do the same as they have sent you a doll that doesn't mach the description . Hope this helps but don't leave it to long before you contacted them xx
I’m sorry you feel my dolls are of a lower quality, but over the years, I have put more and more time and effort into every reborn doll I make than ever before and I’m always learning new methods to make them more realistic, like our new breathing mechanism, custom made rings to allow better movement and sooo much more.. My goal has always been to try to make reborns more and more realistic. But I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I will take your comments onboard. Please also note that video cameras, like phones, will not show the true detail or colouring of a doll, so to see the detail you need view all the high quality images taken of each doll.
Tell them that your not happy ask if you get a refund. If you can't ..Hopefully you used PayPal or a Credit card.. contact them let them deal with it .
Yes we did resolve the issues she had and I did refund her for the items I missed. I have also offered her a brand new baby and have explained how my post natal depression effected my work.
I honestly don't know how people order from this artist. Her rooted hair in her box packings show she is not good at rooting. I've visited her website just for giggles and she charges people for every little thing. I saw your receipt and did I see you were charged for 3 pacifiers at $79? As for the beating heart, I purchased a few from Bountiful Baby for about $6.00. They have also been on sale for $2.95. I think people buy from her because she is all over youtube and assume they're getting a quality product.
I paid $700 for my new levi, he looks hyper-realistic. I wouldn't be happy and trust me I would throw a fit. Slam it into paypal and yell it all around. $900 for a baby that doesn't have what you want, nor the items you requested is shady business. If I was you I would email her and address the issue that if you aren't happy at all and that the doll is not worth $900. If it were me there would be a scene.

You paid that much for a doll of that quality and waited 5 years for that. I don't own a reborning business but I do sell hand made goods and wouldn't have that customer service and that price for a low quality. I watched the box opening as well and was shocked!

It appears to me you've punked. This doll looks like a knock off from China. I believe on a professional level the Real artist is supposed to send photos of the finished product, & you have to approve(checklist) before it gets shipped to you. Before you post ANY reviews contact the sender
If anyone knows someone who would be willing to repaint and root my reborn I would really appreciate it. My artist was horrible and I paid a lot of money for him and his lips are even peeling and his leg has detached so please if anyone knows someone let me know :)
I have a similar experience with her, with my doll Summer, she was about £600-£700 (GBP) she has minimal veining and details, I asked for one birthmark on her face, I got one on her face and one on her arm that looks a little smudged. I asked for Remy human hair, but the hair she has feels straw-like, and like its low quality. I paid in full in one payment, yet I had to wait two years for her to be done and sent to me. I won't order from her again. I'm sure it was her as I ordered through the website she linked on her facebook and youtube. I have been watching her for years, and I'd been saving up to get one of her dolls, she wouldn't do a box packing of her also, I paid for a baby brush too, but it wasn't in the box. I was really disappointed when I got Summer. Obviously I still love her to pieces, its been a year or so since I got her.
Baby Boo Nursery hello. I am afraid that she was a genuine still moments nursery as the box opening will show, also that it really did take 5 yrs to get to me as another video will show as it includes copies of emails from nikki with the dates on which state december 2017. I also have all the paperwork that came with her to prove that she is a genuine still moments nursery doll.

Definitely complain! I would ask that you receive the baby you paid for, with everything it was to have. It was all paid for! Personally I sell better quality than that for half the price! So sorry you got took after waiting so long. 😖
Leesh Bomb hello. No it was direct from nikki and her nursery thru her website so was 100% from there. As she was a custom as well so it was a process of hair colour and eye colour that i was involved with.
I have been watching Smn for years and always thought the dolls were a bit pale and unrealistic, but I thought Nikkei was a genuine person, that's why I kept watching. The clothing and a ccsessories are very bizarre looking and not worth what she charges. Charging for painting skin tone, birthmarks and milk spots is ridiculous. This is an over hyped person who is exploiting the public.
I got a baby from her years ago before she had her daughter and loved what I got everything was correct to what I asked for and she took a year. this is so strange she looks like a store brought doll you definitely need to talk to Nikki about this!

Make a copy of that receipt you showed and read us.... Check EVERYTHING you mentioned in the video..... SEND it to them and tell them you want an adjustment on your bill!!! You could also send them another message asking what they're going to do! I would NOT let them getaway with that... You've been scammed!!!!

Really , when I order from her if you remember she said 24 weeks, not 2or 5 year's . If I'm right 24 weeks is about 6 months. Again sorry I would report it.

you all know that its not just the price of everything added up but also the price of time spent on making the reborns that is added to the price plus i saw the pictures of the reborn in the video on the smn website and it diffidently looks amazing but in the video it looks like its been played with a bit and not very good lighting. but in my opinion it is totally worth the money spent.

She uses air dry paints that's why she doesn't look real. Thanks for sharing because I was going to order from her but now I won't! Thanks for sharing her horrible quality. But do get your money back and find a better artist to paint her and stuff.
I watched her videos, she is not a very good artist. I’ve seen the finished hair and it’s amateurish. I believe she gets orders since she has a youtube channel.

Lol if you hadnt seen it before then you would have known that this video was from the day i got the doll. Also i have done further videos with proof about the bad service i got from Nikki. Everyone is allowed their opinion but saying that it is because i took bad care of a baby that i only opened that day and videoed opening well i think you may need to check your facts before commenting in future or you make yourself look like an idiot if im honest. As i paid so much for the baby i am allowed to give whatever review i like. Anyone that asks me i will be honest with them. Definitely contact her and demand a refund. For as much as she charged for her you did not get what you paid for. Period. Sorry about that!

Hi. I got a refund for the items that were missing only so in total she refunded about $100. I did not get a refund for the items that I paid for but that I believe were not as described or up to the quality it should.
Reborn Mummy The clothing pack, birth mark, milk spots, and beating heart total far more than $100. Different than you, I really found her quite pleasant to work with, but I do think she takes on more work than she can handle. I love Elizabeth, and I'd love to have more of Nikki's babies, but I really don't think I would be willing to wait so long again. Elizabeth's painting seems quite different from Bella's, and I'm quite fond of her rooting as well. If the quality had been lower I would have addressed it more aggressively, but all told I was happy enough to have her despite the fact that some of my bits weren't present.
I wanted to know how could this turn out for you did you get a refund how did it turn out with the doll I put in order in about 2 weeks ago and I sent the money order and for payment and haven't gotten anything back from her she said that the money order heading it arrived just why she couldn't make my baby which was frustrating but every time I update her there's no recent change and I'm concerned that I may be getting scammed so I wanted to know from somebody who's brought here before
Hannah Bumbray it does say it takes up to 5 months to be done and sent to you on her information about ordering a custom baby.
are you sure it wasnt someone faking being SMN?? I`ve gotten fakes (not reborns, horse stuff) from websites that looked 100% real.

It is such a shame as i had such high hopes for this baby.
But no it was not a fake it was from her genuine website and youtube etc.
Tell the artist about what she did not do. Ask her to refund that amount.
Nikki has a 6 year old daughter. don't get me wrong but I think her daughter might've interrupted her so much that she might've lost focus and forgotten. but that really doesn't look like a good reborn, hers were much better before her daughter was born.

I don't think there's any question here, you did not receive what you paid for. Me personally would never wait 5 years for a doll, too impatient I guess! You have all the proof you need, the invoice and the doll. I would hesitate to ask for the doll to be done right, who knows how long that would take. A refund in full would be nice, if not a refund for all the items you did not receive. I hope you can get some satisfaction on this. Sorry she wasn't what you waited so long for.

You need to contract them with your concerns and if no luck how did you pay for her ? PayPal if so you can go to them with your concerns and they will help you get a refund and I think if you played by credit card you can do the same as they have sent you a doll that doesn't mach the description . Hope this helps but don't leave it to long before you contacted them xx

I’m sorry you feel my dolls are of a lower quality, but over the years, I have put more and more time and effort into every reborn doll I make than ever before and I’m always learning new methods to make them more realistic, like our new breathing mechanism, custom made rings to allow better movement and sooo much more.. My goal has always been to try to make reborns more and more realistic. But I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder and I will take your comments onboard.
Please also note that video cameras, like phones, will not show the true detail or colouring of a doll, so to see the detail you need view all the high quality images taken of each doll.
Tell them that your not happy ask if you get a refund. If you can't ..Hopefully you used PayPal or a Credit card.. contact them let them deal with it .

Yes we did resolve the issues she had and I did refund her for the items I missed.

I honestly don't know how people order from this artist. Her rooted hair in her box packings show she is not good at rooting. I've visited her website just for giggles and she charges people for every little thing. I saw your receipt and did I see you were charged for 3 pacifiers at $79? As for the beating heart, I purchased a few from Bountiful Baby for about $6.00. They have also been on sale for $2.95. I think people buy from her because she is all over youtube and assume they're getting a quality product.
I paid $700 for my new levi, he looks hyper-realistic. I wouldn't be happy and trust me I would throw a fit. Slam it into paypal and yell it all around. $900 for a baby that doesn't have what you want, nor the items you requested is shady business. If I was you I would email her and address the issue that if you aren't happy at all and that the doll is not worth $900. If it were me there would be a scene.

You paid that much for a doll of that quality and waited 5 years for that. I don't own a reborning business but I do sell hand made goods and wouldn't have that customer service and that price for a low quality. I watched the box opening as well and was shocked!

It appears to me you've punked. This doll looks like a knock off from China. I believe on a professional level the Real artist is supposed to send photos of the finished product, & you have to approve(checklist) before it gets shipped to you. Before you post ANY reviews contact the sender
If anyone knows someone who would be willing to repaint and root my reborn I would really appreciate it. My artist was horrible and I paid a lot of money for him and his lips are even peeling and his leg has detached so please if anyone knows someone let me know :)
I have a similar experience with her, with my doll Summer, she was about £600-£700 (GBP) she has minimal veining and details, I asked for one birthmark on her face, I got one on her face and one on her arm that looks a little smudged. I asked for Remy human hair, but the hair she has feels straw-like, and like its low quality. I paid in full in one payment, yet I had to wait two years for her to be done and sent to me. I won't order from her again. I'm sure it was her as I ordered through the website she linked on her facebook and youtube. I have been watching her for years, and I'd been saving up to get one of her dolls, she wouldn't do a box packing of her also, I paid for a baby brush too, but it wasn't in the box. I was really disappointed when I got Summer. Obviously I still love her to pieces, its been a year or so since I got her.

I am afraid that she was a genuine still moments nursery as the box opening will show, also that it really did take 5 yrs to get to me as another video will show as it includes copies of emails from nikki with the dates on which state december 2017.
I also have all the paperwork that came with her to prove that she is a genuine still moments nursery doll.

Hi i did contact her and got a refund on the missing items. But i still dont think she was worth the money. The ultimate clothing pack i brought for example and i do not feel the clothing i recieved valued the amount i paid.

As she was a custom as well so it was a process of hair colour and eye colour that i was involved with.
I have been watching Smn for years and always thought the dolls were a bit pale and unrealistic, but I thought Nikkei was a genuine person, that's why I kept watching. The clothing and a ccsessories are very bizarre looking and not worth what she charges. Charging for painting skin tone, birthmarks and milk spots is ridiculous. This is an over hyped person who is exploiting the public.

Make a copy of that receipt you showed and read us.... Check EVERYTHING you mentioned in the video..... SEND it to them and tell them you want an adjustment on your bill!!! You could also send them another message asking what they're going to do! I would NOT let them getaway with that... You've been scammed!!!!

Really , when I order from her if you remember she said 24 weeks, not 2or 5 year's . If I'm right 24 weeks is about 6 months. Again sorry I would report it.

you all know that its not just the price of everything added up but also the price of time spent on making the reborns that is added to the price plus i saw the pictures of the reborn in the video on the smn website and it diffidently looks amazing but in the video it looks like its been played with a bit and not very good lighting. but in my opinion it is totally worth the money spent.
