Oh my goodness!! I smiled through that entire video, and I can’t tell you how many times I got a little teary-eyed just seeing all the love between the two of you. I was fortunate to have had that same kind of relationship with my mom, and we so enjoyed staying up late after everyone else had gone to bed so we could have our own quiet time to have a cup of tea and talk. Nothing compares to it, and I am so thankful for those memories. I’m so happy for you that you are enjoying your visit and travels. Thank you for sharing your sweet mom with us. She is a gem! I was wondering where Mr lost in stitches was too. I love your stitch work. Lisa congratulations on stepping out on your vacation and trying stitching in hand too. Do you think you will use it more often. I had to use it for the first time on Nantucket Girls Song. I didn’t have a scroll frame big enough to stitch it so forced into practicing it on that project. This was an amazing video with you and your Mom. I lost my Mom in 2016. She was my best friend. We did so many fun things together and my family and I stayed with her on several occasions maybe a week or just a weekend but we always had a great time. She lived a few hours north of us. She had plans to move much closer they were trying to sell the home they had built really as just an investment property and then the real estate market experienced a crash. I so wish we had more years together losing her was tremendously hard on me and I still have severe depression and anxiety. I suffer from Crohn’s disease which was under control until I had breast cancer and they put me into menopause which negatively impacted my CROHNS symptoms. So now I am on disability. I had planned on working at least another 10 years. Watching you and your struggles with cancer is so encouraging. You are an inspiration! Please don’t ever stop making videos I know you are impacting so many stitchers. Take care love you!

Great you got home to have a visit with your Mom and Dad. Your Mom is a great stitcher as well ,nice to see her stitching and her willingness to try a new fabric. Went to NFld once when I came home from Ontario on vacation, before moving back home to NB. Love seeing you and your mom! I lost my mom in 2002 and she must be letting me know she’s still in my life, I found TWO boxes of stamped cross stitch blocks she made in the late 90’s! I am so excited! Going to put the blocks together and have it quilted. Can’t wait. Enjoy your visit, love hearing you both laugh together!

It was wonderful getting to meet your mom, it really shows how much you both are enjoying your time together! I cannot believe how much you have manage to stitch even on vacation! I guess that would be my question, how much time a day do you generally spend stitching? I am currently working on Forest Home by the Blue Flower, it is so so so much fun to stitch! You are going to love it, particularly since you love being out in the forest yourself!

This was an amazing video with you and your Mom. I lost my Mom in 2016. She was my best friend. We did so many fun things together and my family and I stayed with her on several occasions maybe a week or just a weekend but we always had a great time. She lived a few hours north of us. She had plans to move much closer they were trying to sell the home they had built really as just an investment property and then the real estate market experienced a crash. I so wish we had more years together losing her was tremendously hard on me and I still have severe depression and anxiety. I suffer from Crohn’s disease which was under control until I had breast cancer and they put me into menopause which negatively impacted my CROHNS symptoms. So now I am on disability. I had planned on working at least another 10 years. Watching you and your struggles with cancer is so encouraging. You are an inspiration! Please don’t ever stop making videos I know you are impacting so many stitchers. Take care love you!
