Grayboe stocks seem like a great company, but I can't get over the "universal" barrel channel. "This eliminates the need for additional modifications, saving customers both time and money. While other options often require costly and time-consuming adjustments, the Eagle is designed to fit seamlessly, reducing overall costs and manufacturing delays." This just seems that final fit and finish doesn't matter to them. Why would a want a stock with a Sendero/M24 barrel channel if I've building a hunter with sporter barrel that mikes .700 at the muzzle?

Great point. I think the final product does mean something to Grayboe. I just think the may be “killin two birds with one stone.” Obviously if your gonna build a sporter and don’t like that there is other choices. I see your insite and calue your opinion. Thanks for that.

I wish there was a way I could have worded it. I've talked to Ryan over email and I know that they really care about the product and the end user. The universal fit thing just seems like a cop out, it's a way to decrease production costs and headache. I'm not saying that they should attend to each and every barrel contour by every maker, but at least have something with a tighter barrel channel that could be inletted by the end user to better fit their barrel. I've no issues with a very generous free float, but I also don't need enough gap at the tip to park a car either.

Your scope should be just as much as your Rifle . It could be a little less then the rifle.. It depends on the distance that you're shootin at . Vortex viper p s t Will do you damn well out of five hundred.. I greatly enjoy your stuff.

Well the days of scopes having to be 3k is over. Manufacturing is so advanced now. Thanks for the comment boss.
