We had a really great time in a safari tent. It’s camping on crack. Kids loved making fires and being on a farm with loads of space, bonfires, bbqs and stone baked pizza. We enjoyed a few days without chaos. Still had beds, running water and a toilet but no electricity. So much fun.
Love Uno. Visit Kessingland, Suffolk. The walks are perfect for Paisley and the beach is accessible without crossing a motorway, you have Africa Alive and Pleasurewood Hills nearby for the kid too, few pubs for a nice lunch too 👍🏻
The Isle of Wight is a lovely place to visit for a few nights plenty of day trips and places the boys will like too especially all the different sea side towns!
We have a big problem with our dog pulling. Look out for a harness that clips the lead on the front (chest area rather than back) . Been a game changer for us as it stops them pulling and has our dog walking much calmer and to heel (he has super reactiveness so tries to go for all cars, people, dogs, anything that moves 😂)
Ewes water log cabins Scotland so peaceful and lots of walks to be had wee cafe right across from u and nobody bothers u it's that quiet . Cabins are amazing
A place I really enjoy and is kid/dog friendly is Center Parcs! The Nottingham one has a really good pool for the kids, and outdoor activities too. Can be a lil pricey at times, but it is a nice lil break away!

If you’re looking for somewhere to go, Loch Monzievaird is great, up near Crieff in Scotland, lots of chalets around a loch, pet friendly and I used to go there as a child with my gran and her dog and had some of the best experiences of my life

Kings Arms Hawkshead is a good break. They had 3 cottages that are now a separate business but are dog friendly. The village is stunning and is on the edge of Grizedale Forrest. Kippford is a stunning little fishing village on the Solway coast to with dog friendly places and stunning walks.

Fred Perry!! when did they start supplying the NHS! 🤣🤣🤣 that looked ridiculous, make me LOL in one of the close up's you looked like Percy's mate in Blackadder, that poor tiler still not finished.....trouble with 'wood doors' on kitchens is it has to be hardwood which is naturally quite dark (unless using 'Limed Oak') plus it needs to be oiled or waxed which also darkens the wood and with age it will get darker, be interesting to see the finished project
A fascinating insight into your world. Family walks… nearly playing live Frogger on the motorway (you did right not to risk it!) and those food hampers. Kitchen looking good, even if a deeper shade than expected, but as it’s real wood you’ve got options. Holidays with Paisley and the boys? We love the beautiful Beddgelert in Snowdonia. Lots of walks around the village and down the Aberglaslyn Pass and beyond, the steam trains, the pubs and it’s all very dog friendly.
I went with my son when he was around 11 years old to Lanark and we stayed at Lanark Mill. They are a world heritage site and there is a hotel or bungalow type rooms that you can have bed breakfast and dinner and there's a museum attached that my son loved. It's well worth a stay. Also Norfolk coast is brilliant for kids and dogs. If you head towards cromer,sheringham, west runton and get a cabin/caravan or Airbnb there it's great for families
Your family holiday looked lovely, I loved the way the food arrived through a hatch. I laughed out loud at James jumper, but at least it kept him warm 😊 you might have to get some new jeans soon Clair 😂 the kitchen looks really good, I hope it doesn’t take too long to sort the cupboard doors out! For me ( and maybe I’m bias) a great place to visit is Deal in kent.. plenty of sea front pubs 3 in deal and 1 about 30 min walk along the coast to kingsdown ( zetland arms) sandwich is only a 15 minute drive with a few things to do too… plenty of little villages in between.. if you ever fancy a trip to kent I highly recommend it
Brilliant cant wait untill next Wednesday. That place u went looked amazing. I would recommend dorset golf and Country club they have log cabins and also 2 cottages and plenty of things to do there would highly recommend it.
I had my ensuite bathroom replaced last November. Part way through the job was tempted to change the colour of the tile as worried the room was too dark. However, decided to trust my original judgement with colours, and indeed when job was finished looked great. How you see things changes with light and background. Looking at bare plaster board changes how you see the colour of your units. Maybe wait until the job is done before making any rash decisions. Sometimes it is better to trust the process and stick to your guns.
Excellent vid, I would love to see you all go on a parkdean resort caravan holiday, I recommend Skegness 👍. This would make a great video and you would all have a good time. 👍 Especially by the beach.
Hi guys I live on a narrow boat in Leicestershire and you can rent them out, it would make a great weekend holiday that's different to normal fantastic scenery and walk's, you can take the dog and the best bit is you can Moore up outside loads of village pubs every night, might be worth a thought, keep up the work cheers.
I came across an advert for The Lakes by Yoo in the Cotswolds and it looks a very nice place for a mini break. Lots of lodges by the lake to choose from and some that are dog friendly. Love the kitchen and the floor looks great.

Herons Lake Retreat in North Wales, would recommend, although might be a long drive from London!
Get rid of the harness and extendable leash. Use a simple slip lead and walk her beside you. Much less stressful 😀👌🏼
