I change the oil and filter on my own minivan and do not need to remove the air hose assembly. Just remove the air box cover and hold it out of the way when you undo the oil filter housing using a one inch socket and socket wrench.

I've been using the K&N filter with Royal Purple oil. Not sure if it's the best but i haven't had any issues as of yet. Still cheaper than going to the dealership or local lube shop. Don't forget that the 3.6 has different a filter type after a certain year. One filter is like the one featured on this video and the other is similar but has a protrusion at the engine side that has an o-ring on it.
Great video, because of that I ordered and will replace the drain plug, too... Didn't plan on it but now I do... I guess I also have to invest in a torque wrench, would be the super gau if I break the aluminum drain plug with too much power when screwing back in...

Is this also appropriate for the Chrysler Pacifica? They use different names in different markets. I think the Pacifica is what's known as the Town and Country in some places. Are you in the UK?
This will work for any Dodge/Chrysler fitted with the 3.6 V6 Pentastar engine. Does the 2016 caravan take synthetic or conventional oil.?
Does it matter?
