I've done this a few times on my daughter's hair but I haven't done it this year (she's been wanting braids **heavy eye roll**) But I love the direction hair is going. We can extend and change our hair but it still looks like OUR hair. Not everybody wants a silky weave. I love this

I use a good kanekalon from my local beauty supply about 3$ a pack. Last as long as u want it in. Never saw it go bad just had to take it out to wash her hair but it lasts pretty long...InStyle I believe it is or EnStyle

It has a long life. People always think it's her hair, they think her hair is the weave lol. She has curly, sandy hair and it's natural so she doesn't like straightening it but she has a lot of hair. She gets this and gets straight hair without having to do much to her own hair and she uses a blow dryer to get the extra poof out of it but a low flat iron will do just the same

Why our hair so diffrent than others .. Did I complain. And this calm pleasant voice said. If u really took a closer look. You woman of color . can wear your hair thick, straight, bush,. Curly. And many! Many styles as hats , brades, beaded, ropes, chains, etc. And you jealous? OmG! Am so sorry for being ungrateful. For such a beauty we are naturally God given. That was a work of art. I don't completely understand why she did it like she did, but it was amazing. And for it to end up as a simple style is amazing. The model already had a lot of beautiful hair though not as long as it ended up being. Really, this was kind of magical. I didn't like what I thought was going to be a braided style but it was taken into a totally different direction. Truly art worthy and much appreciated. I'd love to have this artist do a creation on my head. Thank you.
I renamed the Kink hair. The new name came to me some time ago. The new name is called protective hair. Our hair can endure any type of atmosphere and weather. If it’s too hot leave it natural and it will protect you from the heat. If it’s too cold it will still protect you from the cold. If your hair is healthy full and thick it is the most protective hair. I learned that years ago in biology class. Plus if we do not abuse the hair it grows faster than any other type of hair. And yes it is so, we can wear our hair in any style. I have receive many compliments for my hair from other races of people because I try my best to maintain it well.
