- This version of the scene where the toys warn the sadistic Sid to "Play Nice" was originally to be performed with both Woody and Buzz, using far more direct dialogue, and played more broadly. The version seen in the film focuses on the heroic resolution of the scene on Woody (with suitable creepy atmosphere provided by the mutant toys), and it is played at a far more subtle level.

I think I would’ve like this “Sid learns his lesson” version better.

2:07: I love seeings things like this in SFM😂. A character just moving and running around in weird body structured way is just something you don’t physically and possibly see in real life

Out on DeviantArt, I saw this piece of artwork where Woody was a lion in the style of The Lion King: Woody Lionized by The-PirateQueen on DeviantArt The way you heard "Geppetto look, I'm a real boy!" made me think of a different idea, if Woody was a lion, instead of saying that line, he'd scare Sid with a big loud mighty "ROAR!" If only there was a picture of Buzz as a "space lion." Then two lions would scare Sid even more with Woody in his lion form pointing at Sid with one of his sharp claws. And the way you heard "Please don't hurt me!" "Hurt you?! We don't wanna hurt you!" "I do!" "Now now, Buzz," well it would have been "Please don't eat me!" "Eat you?! We don't want to eat you!" "I do!" "Now Buzz, that won't be necessary." That's just my own opinion on how that kind of confrontation would work, and even if Woody and Buzz were both lions, The Lion King styled, Tom Hanks and Tim Allen would still be the best choices for them in the case of recording their voices, but what do you guys think of that as well as a few other things from above and the picture of Woody as a lion, The Lion King styled? That is if any of you have ever watched The Lion King at all, at least I have.
I'm shocked no one made an ending where Sid won, and Woody and Buzz join the collection of freak toys.
Sid would have turned them into something bad ass. Sid rocks and Andy is lame, at least Sid plays with all of his toys.
I actually saw a creepy video of someone demonstrating the movements of a "Sid" Buzz. It crawled around like a spider mixed with a crab and was both insanely cool and creepy. I'll try to find the link.
@@kayleesmith6725 I have seen the video, that Korean sculptor is talented. That was most likely going to happen to Buzz, Sid was excited he got an expensive toy in a crane game, I doubt he was just going to simply blow Buzz up.
It is a cool what if story though. Imagine how different Toy Story 2 and 3 would have been is Sid owned Woody and Buzz?
@zareh1234 studios I'm not a fan of Toy Story 3 and 4, I know 3 is praised but its not for me. Toy Story 2 is a worthy sequel, but the first movie is superior with its themes on "what does it mean to be a toy?" you have Buzz's character arc revolving around accepting reality, and Woody's character arc on acknowledging his jealousy. Sid's toys are deformed yes, but they're still alive, and why should the audience judge how Sid uses his toys? I wonder how Woody and Buzz's adventures would have changed if they became Sid's toys? Would the round up gang be around? Would Al still find Woody and try to fix him? Would Sid just give up his toys if he went to college? I'm a sucker for fan fiction, I did a lot of it growing up.
@zareh1234 studios I've thought about it, I haven't done fan fics in years though. my idea for Buzz was that he didn't want to be in the image of a space ranger toy anymore, he wanted his own identity and Sid does that by changing him.
Woody I have no idea what to do with, he hates Sid and is connected to Andy, I want to keep him in character, but have him punished for his jealousy, so I have no idea yet.
It would have been so funny if woody said a Pinocchio reference
