I have a original igloo I have replaced with a biker plus.
Last weekend for ease I used the igloo and it stood up to a thunderstorm not bad for a tent approaching 20 years old used regularly.
My only failing is the grey plastic feet at the end of the poles they are now brittle.

Glad you have had so many good years out of the tent, have you tried contacting Khyam to see if you can get replacement pole ends, worth a go as they do say lifetime guarantee on the website.
