I was a fall risk, so i was trapped in that hospital bed 24/7 for two weeks. The only thing that didn't make me go insane was your music. I just got a small taste of what you have been through. Sure English is not my first language, but even if it was I'm not even sure how many hours I'm supposed to sink in to those couple of verses to even get close. I want to say "it's not fair", but I know it is, because you have spend time for this, while my time has been split between work, gaming, guitar and whatnot. I've been diving down the Ren rabbit hole for a few weeks now, but I've been trying to savor each piece by watching every reaction I can find before moving to the next song...but I noticed that BP has been on a serious Ren blitz & saw that you guys are going to do an interview!! So excited to see it. The interview with Knox was superb. As for the song, so incredibly underrated (as is all of your music to date, which seems to be rapidly changing). The message is so poignant, the lyrics are spectacular, the music on point & the vocals...ah, the vocals. Genius. Brilliant. All of it. ❤ I have to say this...as a woman in my mid 40s with eclectic music tastes who has always been a fan of indie artists & have always tried to veer off the beaten path and gravitate to the more original, less played artists, I had become complacent in recent years because I was forced to focus on a ghost from my past that I thought I had exercized, and it caused me to crash emotionally, mentally, physically. I found myself incapable of tapping in to the part of my brain that thrives on music and art. I've done a lot of healing over the past 2 years, and just accidentally stumbled on you & Chincilla at the perfect time in my life, and not only has it has opened up a whole universe of ART that I'd been sleeping on, but it has shifted my focus and perspective on how I view myself, others, life in general, and what I choose to focus on in my day to day life. When i first discovered Ren i was so happy to find a whole bunch of stuff to delve in to rather than just a couple of tracks. Is there is a better song to calm you down, to help you breathe, to get you through the pain I haven’t found it yet. I am here again listening to humble on repeat while I am in crisis. If I stay Humble I can stay grounded, I can breathe I can wait for the help to come and hold myself together for the people who need me to be strong right now. My heart beats in pace with the music, thank you REN and thank you Eden for throwing out this rope for those of us who are drowning. Right now I feel like it might just save my sanity.
These ren songs make me want to get better. Withdrawaling from opioids at the moment and this makes me feel slightly better. Just listening these on a loop is the only thing that enhances my mood currently.

I don't know what to say. The guitar, sure, I can handle that with some practice, but the rap, seriously? Sure English is not my first language, but even if it was I'm not even sure how many hours I'm supposed to sink in to those couple of verses to even get close.
I want to say "it's not fair", but I know it is, because you have spend time for this, while my time has been split between work, gaming, guitar and whatnot. And I know it has been hard for you, and I admire that you haven't given up but found a way to live, and as a side product, I guess, this is how it pays off.

Here because of Black Pegasus. I got out of order. I've been diving down the Ren rabbit hole for a few weeks now, but I've been trying to savor each piece by watching every reaction I can find before moving to the next song...but I noticed that BP has been on a serious Ren blitz & saw that you guys are going to do an interview!! So excited to see it. The interview with Knox was superb. As for the song, so incredibly underrated (as is all of your music to date, which seems to be rapidly changing). The message is so poignant, the lyrics are spectacular, the music on point & the vocals...ah, the vocals. Genius. Brilliant. All of it. ❤
I have to say this...as a woman in my mid 40s with eclectic music tastes who has always been a fan of indie artists & have always tried to veer off the beaten path and gravitate to the more original, less played artists, I had become complacent in recent years because I was forced to focus on a ghost from my past that I thought I had exercized, and it caused me to crash emotionally, mentally, physically. I found myself incapable of tapping in to the part of my brain that thrives on music and art. I've done a lot of healing over the past 2 years, and just accidentally stumbled on you & Chincilla at the perfect time in my life, and not only has it has opened up a whole universe of ART that I'd been sleeping on, but it has shifted my focus and perspective on how I view myself, others, life in general, and what I choose to focus on in my day to day life. It has been an amazing ride so far, and I'm only just at the very start.
Sincerely, thank you for what you do, your general attitude toward people, and thank you for sharing your talents with us. You have touched so many people, even in just the last few months, and I hope that is returned to you exponentially. Hope your treatment is going well, and seeing Ren perform live one day is the newest item on my bucket list.

Same thing happened to me, except it was an anime girl rap battle on reddit for me.
When i first discovered Ren i was so happy to find a whole bunch of stuff to delve in to rather than just a couple of tracks. To this day i am still revisiting stuff that i skipped over due to spending way too long repeatedly listening to those initial cannon balls like Hi Ren, The Tales etc. The more i delve, the more i appreciate just what a genius i have the privilege to see and hear in my lifetime.
