Great review Aaron, very entertaining! I purchased a set of Earfun Wave Pros, tested them, and ultimately ended up sending them back. I agree with you, the build quality was really good for the price, but that pretty much ends my list of superlatives. To my ears, the sound quality was not up to par. I A/B tested them against a pair of Soundcore Q30’s and no matter what I did to the EQ on the Wave Pros I couldn’t get them to not sound a bit veiled and lacking in the low end. I agree they’ve got a nice wide sound stage, but their response is super flat (but not in an analytical way like Sennheiser) and the EQ does nothing to fix it. That was really disappointing to me because my past experience with Earfun’s products was much better. All of their earbuds had good frequency response, wide sound stages, good punchy bass, and they all EQ’ed really well. These disappointed me highly. Just another hypetrain product. The Soundcore Q30/35’s are a much better headphone in all regards while costing the same or less.
Interesting perspective. I got the 1more Sonoflow SEs myself and I thought they sounded very nice till I put them up against my Soundcore Q30s. They were way more dynamic. On the other hand, if you just want a pair of headphones for a very relaxed listening experience, I feel the Sonoflows would be a good choice. I suspect these are similar. 😊
@@gearupaaron On the Sonoflow SEs, the noise cancelling is actually not too bad. But I noticed that there's the same sort of delay when turning off the headphones...it takes a while! Interesting.
@@gearupaaron I thought the ANC on the Wave Pros was mediocre. I ride the subway to work a couple days per week and I couldn't tell the difference between them and my Q30's.
Great review, Aaron. :) I got these headphones a few months ago. I've been pretty impressed so far. The battery life is solid, the noise cancelling is adequate for my purposes, and the sound quality is very impressive. For the money, I think these are some of the best earphones you can buy.
great video as always! I just got the Sonoflow (blue) a few days ago and I really like it for the price I paid ($60). Sounds like these Wave Pro are in-line with them and I may buy one as well if they will have more colors in the future.
Great price for a great seat of cans. Besides the Earfuns, you can bet that there'll be more amazing devices at this price dropping the rest of the year.
EarFoon! 😄. I love the color of the Wave Pros. They are so close to my 1More SonoFlows. One small thing - they have voice prompts rather than the Netflix like tones on 1More. I appreciate you mentioning the JLab Lux ANC too as I just received mine. I think the EarFun and 1More have the edge in terms of sound quality (especially with LDAC). Thanks for the review!
Thank you for your great video. I heard that when you listen wired, the NC doesn't work. Do happen to know if that's true? If not, are there NC headphones that do (withsimilar features/price). I know it sounds weird, but I prefer direct monitoring on Zoom meetings or recording. Thanks again for the great videos. I hope can grow it. You make great content.
Hey i discovered your account and i liked your video's do you think i should get this pair of headphones or the jbls which you did in the video before this?
I appreciate this review! Might consider buying them. Also, if you can review the Vokalen Hyper Pros, Id really appreciate ur thoughts on them! cheers :)
@@gearupaaron I initially considered purchasing the Sonoflows but opted for the Hyper Pros instead. I find them to be a strong contender in a similar price range (approximately $50 on Amazon). Additionally, I am particularly impressed by their touch controls.
Would you say these are better than the 1More Sonoflow? Right now I'm looking for the best 80$ headset, and so I'm deciding between this or the Jlab Jbuds Lux. I'm looking for good sound quality for EDM and POP with some noise canceling so maybe the Jbuds Lux may be more my style since you said they have more bass.
Had these for 2 weeks now and I get a lot of feedback just from moving my end, pressure droning type of noise. Not sure if that’s just me, heard another reviewers, I think RHME, mentioned it.
@@gearupaaron it’s in all modes so far. Like when you touch headphones and you get feedback in your ears but it’s caused even my just twisting your head from side to side. Also feel a lot of pressure from them with no music playing. Weird, I have many many headphones and earbuds and never experienced this. I remember an old pair of earbuds with a cord that would scrape against a coat zipper and cause a simular sensation
I am planning on buying the 1More Sonoflow, and I was wondering if you think it's still a good deal or if would you choose something else in the price range? Did your opinions or final score on them change afterward or are they still accurate?
So far the consensus has been these sound better than the SonoFlows. I know sound is subjective but what are you thoughts? Also, how does the noise canceling compare? The ANC is my only quibble with the SonoFlows
Great questions... Personally I prefer the Sonoflow sound over the Wave (assuming both running LDAC). It feels more intimate and detailed. I'd rank ANC from top to bottom as Space One, Wave Pro, and Sonoflow. Still, I might have to listen to the Sonoflow again and see my assessment still stands. 😁
I have both the EarFun and 1More like Aaron. There are more noise cancelling modes on the EarFun. As far as sound goes they sound identical with my custom EQs on both.
Thanks so much for the review of these. I have the Sonoflow SEs so probably don't have the need for these also. I still love my Soundcore Q30s, they are fantastic! Loved your "outtake"😂
i dont know but what i heard from you video music sample with soundpeats space , the bass is quite heavy , maybe because soundpeats space is known for bass heavy LOL

Thanks for expanding on your experienced review. I may have to give these a go as I have not tried any Earfun products in over a year. Thx as always!!

nice review! it is impressive how many budget noise cancelling headphones there are now in the $30-80 (usd) price range.

This is with new FW 0.4.0

Or do you think k I should get another pair for a budget of 80
If your budget is strictly under $80, the Earfun, 1More Sonoflow, or Soundcore Q30/35 would be excellent choices.

Curiously I experienced the same thing in my left earcup of my Tozo HT2s. It only happened once, but it was very strange.

Different manufacturers use different ANC counter signals. Maybe these headphones use cheaper ANC modules that cause issues like yours?

I made the scoring as objective as possible (especially for SQ and performance, and looks), so they ought to be pretty relevant for some time.
@@gearupaaron Thank you very much
@yxtsama You're welcome ✌️
This vs sony xm5. For me most important is voice/mic quality. Do u think xm5 has much more improved mic quality or is it the same?
Sony ftw.
Earfun wave pro vs Edifier 820 nb plus vs jbl 720bt ! Which one best in terms of bass and overall music quality?
Thank you for posting.
Thanks YOU!
what will be the best comparison for this headphones?
I believe I mentioned it in the video, but I'd say either the 1More Sonoflow series, Edifier W820NB Plus, or Soundcore Space One.
would you say these are better than the soundcore space one?
Generally, my final scores are objective enough to compare different products I review. Where the Space One trumps Earfun here is ANC and app, fwiw.
Which one better Earfun wave pro or Soundcore space one?
