My favorite part when this music plays is André promising to give his life for Oscar some day. It's such a tragic foreshadowing of the how things would end. It makes me so emotional.
This songs represents Fersen's journey to America getting listed for Independence war. Marie Antoniete feeling sad. Oscar being kinda melancholic and Andre kinda jealous. That was a highly emotional clímax scene.

La bellezza struggente e allo stesso tempo piena di forza che permea queste note testimonia quanto "Versailles no Bara" resti il più grande capolavoro d'animazione mai prodotto e riesca ancora ad illuminare con il suo splendore quest'epoca oscura di un' Umanità ferita ma mai doma, come lo sono stati Oscar e il suo iseparabile André...
Ancora questa canzone mi commuove dopo tanti anni, si sente la sofferenza ed il coraggio. Sono abbastanza aggiornata su nuovi anime e manga , ma giuro, niente può arrivare a questi livelli... la profondità della storia e dei sentimenti unita ad una vicenda che si fonde in modo cosi armonico e commuovente alla realtà. Come canzone ti consiglio di ascoltare kamado tanjiro no uta tratto dall'anime Kimetsu no yaiba. Purtroppo l'anime a me non ha preso ma la colonna sonora è molto bella.

Io solo adesso sono riuscita ad apprendere questa meraviglia che avevo tralasciato quando ero bambina,che, purtroppo in tutta me sressa non capivo quando era in TV a causa delle storie tragiche che vi erano io non lo guardavo lo toglievo e poi mi annoiava. Solo ora ho capito tutto il dramma che di cela dietro a questo capolavoro ; la fame,non avere gli stessi diritti... E tutt'ora sono cose che purtroppo implicano l'umanità.

Este tema también suena cuando Oscar desfunda su espada con firmeza para defender la vida de André, parandose con valentía frente al Rey y así evitar que lo maten.
