TURKEY TACO SALAD RECIPE:
INGREDIENTS:
1 lb Ground turkey
1/2-1 can 14 OZ can tomato sauce
Olive oil
Avocado oil spray
Cherry tomatoes, halved
Shredded lettuce
Cilantro, chopped
Red onion, chopped
Avocado
Shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 packet Taco seasoning (I put 1 tsp + my own seasoning)
Salt
Pepper
*Optional- Lime for garnish
*Optional- Sour cream, yogurt, salsa, pico de gallo or your favorite taco sauce!
DIRECTIONS:
1. Chop red onion, cilantro, halve the cherry tomatoes and slice the lime in half
2. Heat avocado oil spray in a large skillet on high heat and add the ground turkey and taco seasoning (and any other seasonings you like) and sauté for 5 mins until ready
3. Reduce heat to medium and add tomato sauce and simmer for 5 mins, stir occasionally (you can add a bit of water)
4. The salad- Mix together lettuce with olive oil, salt and pepper. Top Lettuce with ground turkey, tomatoes, red onion, avocado, cheddar cheese, cilantro and a squeeze of lime (add salt over tomatoes and avocado) and mix!

That salad looks so good, I need to try it out! Great for on the go as well! Happy hour is the best, that frozen drink looks so good! I have never had a frozen rose before ahhh!!
